The former manager, Tammy, who sadly passed away, and the new manager, Chelsea, have both been amazing in their dedication to providing exceptional service and creating a comfortable living environment. Tammy, the former manager, was an extraordinary individual who made a lasting impact on the residents. Her kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness were unmatched. She always went above and beyond to ensure that any concerns or issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. Tammy's warmth and genuine care for the community created a strong sense of belonging that made Lake Street Apartments feel like home. Since Tammy's passing, Chelsea has seamlessly stepped into the role of manager, and her commitment to continuing the legacy of exceptional service is truly commendable. She has proven to be equally as attentive and helpful, ensuring that the residents' needs are met and any concerns are promptly addressed. Chelsea's friendly demeanor and professionalism make her a pleasure to work with, and her dedication to maintaining a high standard of living at Lake Street Apartments is evident. Beyond the outstanding management team, Lake Street Apartments themselves are well-maintained and provide cozy retreat at the end of each day. The location of Lake Street Apartments is also worth mentioning. Situated in the charming town of South Lyon, there is a perfect balance between peaceful suburban living and convenient access to nearby amenities. The community is close to shopping centers, restaurants, parks, and other attractions, ensuring that residents have everything they need within reach. In summary, my experience at Lake Street Apartments has been nothing short of fantastic. "Decent place but the manager Tammy is not a nice person. My 77 year old mother was in the hospital tge last 2 nights and I got a call that her dog was howling this morning in which my brother had just dropped off an hour before I got the call anticipating that my mother was going to be home today which she was by 12:30. Tammy called my mom saying the place was torn up and that she was not going to renew her lease. I got there and the apartment was fine and dog was sleeping on the bed. Neighbor had called because she was concerned about mom because her car was there and she couldn't get in touch with my mom. Somebody has a big ego problem and doesn't deserve to have a job if that's the way she treats seniors who are in the hospital. I do have photos of the apartment when I arrived and would be more then happy to share them."

"Reading these reviews, I would NEVER move to this SLUM. The snarky replies by the complex really show how true the ex tenants are! If I were to guess, half the tenants wish to move because of these issues, but there is too little choice of anywhere else to go in SL. The complex should take this opportunity to turn things around, Pay their staff better and take care of the whole reason they are in business, the TENANTS!"

"They didn’t fix or replace a lot things they said they would fix or replace. When the hot water tank failed I had to wait until late night for maintenance to replace it because he was working his second job at a laundry mat. The on-site manager is never in the office, you must try and make an appointment to see her. It’s difficult to throw your garbage away because quite often the dumpsters are full of carpet and padding from contractors."
