Reviews of Pine Hills
"My partner lives here and I just gotta say this place is the WORST. They loe, and hide absolutely horrible things wrong with the properties. They sold my partner a black mold infested (obviously severely water damaged trailer- then proceeded to tell him- only after the sale was fibal that the trailer was NOT safe to love and must remain in their property for HIS WHOLE LEASE TERM unless he wants to sell/rent it. But the trailer can not more. Imagine his anger when he found that out. They are trash here. And they will lie lie lie and lie more just to get your money. As his neighbors HAD THE SAME ISSUE! And this is a VERY COMMON theme to the residents. Basically they are slumlords who just want your money and are willing to put your life at risk."
"Rachel very nice and caring manager. Also chris that helped with me buying my home.Very quiet here and have a beautiful lot .."
"The park itself is nice , but we had a terrible experience trying to move in here. We tried to apply for a home loan here , and I told them if we didn’t get approved then we would be more then interested in renting a home instead. We applied and heard nothing back , no email updates and no phone calls. We tried and tried to get ahold of someone in the office but our calls kept getting ignored and you aren’t able to leave a voicemail due to the mailbox being full , also no response to our emails. Finally when we were sick of being ignored , we used a different phone number to call and what do you know , the person in the office answered! We then were told we were denied for the home loan and I should have gotten an email stating that , which I would’ve believed if it hadn’t been for the emails I sent asking for an update that kept being ignored.. just unprofessional. Thankfully we went to another community and we were approved for a brand new 2020 doublewide that cost even more then the home we originally tried to purchase here!"
"Trying to charge general cleaning fees out of our security deposit even though Indiana state law specifies that is illegal. They were nice when we moved in but moving out is a different story. John the new landlord is rude and when I asked for a copy of our lease he told me to leave the office."
"When you move in they are more than willing to be kind and courteous. We only had a handful of problems here, some that were never fully handled (such as severe warping with exterior doors which caused a lot of issues to say the least - plus home not being leveled well which makes the doors even worse). Other than a few issues, I thought we were in a pretty good place. However, upon moving out we have had nothing but lies, and excuses. I have spent a lot of our time requesting paperwork, to have the new landlord argue and fight about every document. More details to follow, as I plan to thoroughly document everything and share. In order to get them to agree to even send me a copy of the lease (he still refused to make me a copy while I was there, I had to go out to my vehicle, write up an official request, then when I went back in set it on his desk and get pictures of John with my formal written request. (He kept telling me he didn't feel comfortable in giving me a copy as his original excuse). I blacked out our forwarding address below of course, but see the picture I took. If he wasn't up to something, then he would have given us a copy of our lease without arguing and me forcing him into a corner. If you want a good read follow along! More to come within the next coming weeks."
