Reviews of Sage Terrace Apartments
"good location and good price, unfortunately thin walls and neighbors with loud music who whant you to know how good it is."
"I think if the owners would be more careful about whom they choose to manage, most apartment complexes, including this one, would not have all the negative reviews. Also, corporate should start reading the reviews , or at least place someone in management who cares about the reviews. Also place those in management who do not use their position to intimidate or discriminate ."
"Where to start; we never were supplied a bedroom door or mailbox key (our mailbox was open our entire 6 month stay), we had twelve maintenance requests for the heat not working in a six month period (in the dead of winter, no less) and it still never worked, the water from the faucets was rusted and yellow, the ceiling leaked yellow in the bathroom. At one point the internet connection under ground rotted and a spectrum worker told me he had never seen it so bad before. They use animal dna testing to determine who cleans up animal waste from dogs, and charge a 350 per incident, but I cleaned up after my dog obsessively, had samples retested and continued to do my due diligence in investigating what was happening and still had my animal agreement revoked. I suspect either maintenance tested animal waste from the provided receptacles to make money on the fees and also be able to revoke animal agreements in order to not have to deal with the upkeep, or someone else was emptying the baskets to spite management, but we were the ultimate victims along with others I’m sure as the testing did not determine if the waste had been picked up or not, just which dog it belonged to. We were charged about 1500 in pet fees alone and still it was not enough and we were issued an intent to reclaim the property. Safety features were broken throughout the stay including a broken glass window and stair guard. I had blinding migraines that necessitated several emergency room visits throughout our time here that have mysteriously vanished since leaving. There is no rail on the outside steps which are uneven and oddly shaped, making it incredibly difficult to manage on icier days. Maintenance let themselves into our apartment without permission on at least one occasion. The shower was painted over with non water proof paint which peeled and revealed mold. The doors didn’t lock. When we left, we left our keys in our mailbox and now they’re saying we did not turn them in and are threatening to charge us until they receive them; either they appropriately provided us a secure mailbox or we did not secure the keys well, as both cannot be true and we no longer have the keys. There were consistently roaches or other bugs in the hallways, there was a young child who cried loudly from about 7 pm to near 2 am each and every night and fighting consistently which was particularly disturbing to me as a parent and mandatory reporter. We paid our rent diligently on time and were continuously treated like criminals and threatened throughout our stay. There are better communities in this area that are equally affordable and don’t treat people this way. Please don’t sign a lease with this corrupt and unethical management company."
"Update: I am currently fighting a roach infestation and bed bugs. Do not move here. Group Five Management does not care about their tenants. Lori does not respond to calls or emails. My windows also leak and the thermostat in my unit doesn't work so I have zero control over my heat so it regularly gets above 100 degrees in my unit with all the windows open. I've lived with this complex for over a year. Everything in my unit is extremely old. I've had to do my own minor repairs on the cabinets and drawers in my kitchen to keep them from falling apart. It took me 6 months after I moved in to get a new dishwasher because the one in my unit leaked horribly. The facet in my tub is constantly running. Furthermore, everytime I take a shower water comes out of my shower head and out of the facet so if I'm not careful I'll end up ankle deep in water halfway through my shower. The windows in my unit are so old the seals are busted and cold air creeps in. The buildings themselves are old and poorly maintained. There is one coin operated washer/dryer per building which surely isn't enough. My car has also been broken into 4 times since I've lived here. There is no security, the parking lot is poorly lit, combined with being in a horrible location you get a lot of riff raff. To top it off my neighbor screams constantly about killing his baby mama but the office doesn't seem to mind. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. This is an awful place to live and I cannot wait for my lease to be up."
"I love the location. I never had issue with a maintenance order getting repair in a timely manner, management, or apartment related in 2 years since I've been here. I've seen the improvements in my building. I jus wish my rent didn't increase as quickly, and the quick evictions process, but I understand. Over all the love my experience here and I just renewed so I would recommend"
