"I hate to give people one star but this is regarding my experience with Terra Hahnenberg and her ability to do NY taxes. I live in NY but for some reason HR block selected me with Terra so i figured she should be able to do NY taxes,sadly i was wrong. I have used her for 3 years and honestly the first year in 2019 she was good but then 2020 and 2021 all had problems. Figure i will just list my issues: 1. Does not respond to messages anymore 2. Does not know anything about NYC taxes. I had to catch her mistakes. She did it correctly the first time after i told her about it(2019) but then didn't do it next 2 years. Didn't think i would need to reminds a NY tax specialist this. 3. Does not know how to read a W2 as missed filling my pension in 2020 so this year have to pay a pretty hefty fee. 4. Filed complaints with HR block but no response. Hopefully this will save someone time and not use Terra Hahnenberg for NY taxes."

"Not good - used H&R for years and never had an issue. My taxes are super easy nothing complicated. I was never given the opportunity to update my banking and my state and federal returns are going to a closed out account. Response from tax professional was "was shoot we should have check that" but no worries once they get rejected by the bank they will send you a paper check. Its never that easy when we are talking about taxes."

"Ashton Bacon is great! Easy to work with and efficient. Wastes no time responding and completing return very quickly. She exceeds my expectations. Now I am spoiled and will expect no less from anyone. Dealing with other customer service people has become such a laborious and painful experience. Not the case with Ashton and H&R Block."
