"This company has given us the run around since we made our purchase 2 months ago. They cancelled on our first delivery appointment, and after rescheduling and getting confirmation EMAILS and TEXTS that our furniture would be delivered on a particular day between 2-4pm, they never showed up. They never called, nothing. My husband took the day off work, got rid of our old furniture, and was awaiting the delivery, but at 3:45PM when no one showed up, I called and left a voicemail. A person called me back and told me I had a "financial hold" on my furniture, but they didn't even tell me what the financial hold was. They said it was Crate and Barrel's (where I bought the furniture) fault. This financial hold? It was that THEIR DELIVERY FEE had went up in the past 2 months since I paid, and NOBODY had alerted me. Not Crate and Barrel, nor the delivery service. Instead, the delivery service kept sending me emails saying I had confirmed the 2-4PM slot and to ask me to review the delivery like it had already been delivered. What an utter lack of communication and professionalism on both sides. And this company's delivery service is high since they are "white gloved". Absolutely aghast and will never use this company again."
"Socrates and his coworker did an amazing job delivering my new mattress up the stairs and into my apartment. They were incredibly professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire process. They took great care to ensure that my mattress was handled with the utmost care and arrived in perfect condition. I was also impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure the delivery was a success. Overall, I highly recommend Socrates and his coworker for any delivery needs. "Over the phone, they helped me to set up a delivery date that would work with our family’s busy summer schedule. Two days before delivery I got a phone call and a text with our two hour delivery window (9am-11am). The day of delivery I got a phone call letting me know my delivery would arrive in about an hour. The two delivery fellas were fantastic! Super friendly and nice, professional, and QUICK!!! Our bedroom set was set up perfectly and not a scrap of anything was left behind. While they were bringing it in, I also noticed each piece of our set was wrapped in a blanket and also plastic wrap. No damage to anything! They had to maneuver stairs and tight corners but they got it done and had a smile the whole time! They showed me how to work the lights that were attached to our headboard and showed me where the usb plugs were located. They explained they don’t attach these as it is a customer preference where they are placed on the furniture. 10/10 would recommend!"
