"The vibes in this place were immaculate. We went there on Saturday and they had live music which was awesome. The staff was super nice and Chris gave us quite an experience."
"My wife and I chose to take a "mini-moon" the week following our wedding and stay at Black Star Farms. Our Diadem suite was everything we could ask for and then some! We were treated to a complimentary bottle of house wine and a delicious charcuterie board upon arrival. We were very pleased with our views of the horse pastures and the cozy stone fireplace. The inn keeper David was extremely welcoming, showing us around the property once we checked in and the amenities were all great! We can't wait to come back and stay again sometime in the summer/fall. Thank you for having us!"
"This is a wonderful winery. The ambience and decor of the place is very classy, but comfortable. The service we received was very friendly and they were very helpful to any and all questions. We did not have any food there but the wine and beverages that we did have were really good! I would highly recommend doing the caramel apple mimosa. It is an apple flavored mimosa with caramel around the rim and it was delicious. The drive into the winery was scenic and you pass a wonderful, cascading Vineyard. There were other activities going on nearby. There is an eatery on the property, however, we did not partake as we had eaten prior. If you’re looking for a new winery to go to, I would definitely recommend this place, if you order a flight of wine or bourbon you will get a keepsake glass to take home. There are other things that are available not listed on the flight menu. Definitely ask around as I missed a pumpkin old fashioned, which might happen before the end of the season!"
"Few days ago, we had our private tour and testing. My wife and I, enjoy staff professionalism and quality. Very testy wine, we had our lunch at the Bistro. Fantastic time."
"Loved the bed and breakfast. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. The room was gorgeous and loved the house. Definitely recommend a stay if you have the opportunity. The tasting is full of great options and always a must stop for me every time I am in Traverse City. The outdoor patio area has perfect for a nice day."
