West Shore Apartments 1201 East Colby Street, Whitehall, MI 49461

"Not a very good place to live. I lived there for 5 years if I would have known how it was before I moved there.. I would have never even bothered, but because I had moved there from out of state I had no choice. Whitehall is a beautiful little town. Westshore has poor management, they refused to help residents that needed to be transferred to a different unit do to their disability that's been there for years. There's a lack of communication between management, they never return your calls. Janitorial sucks! they don't clean the property very good, it smells like they use dirty mop water, you might get lucky if they vacuum the hallways. The police are there almost every night due to drug overdoses, people do drugs in the parking lot. If management would do their job, it would be a nice place to live. It's just a shame that people who have been living there for years are forced to move because of poor management. It doesn't do any good to file complaints with corporate. The building is pretty much falling apart. Not a very good place to live if you have children, the playground never gets cleaned, people don't clean up their dog poop. One positive point is maintenance is always on point and does an awesome job. Basically that's the only positive thing about westshore."

"I've lived here personally. I requested being moved because 3 yrs with an atrocious neighbor who has violated everything on her lease. I have asked to be moved as they aren't doing anything about her. They told me I needed a drs note to move. That is straight up a HUD violation. The management here is lazy and does not do their job. Make sure you keep written documentation from them as you likely will need it later on."

"Need more employees on campus site and major updates in side and out need to do more better back ground check cuz there a lot of cases that live there and the good people that live there have to have there own cameras on there porch cuz there other people that live there like to come to there porch to look to Snoop and look in the window. Vary hard to get thing done with what u need maintenance or complaints done and a hole lot of other thing"
