"We’ve been living here for almost 3 months now, and Jennifer and Jeremy make it so comfortable. Jeremy is the best maintenance guy, and goes above and beyond. He even takes care of things he isn’t obligated to take care of. Example being; he hooked my dryer vent up for me. He’s very on top of work orders as well. Jennifer is doing a fantastic job at managing two properties, and she’s very easy to talk to with any questions or concerns. Our apartment is cozy, and a perfect place for our first home. We couldn’t ask for better management!!!"

"I have lived here 12 years. Wow have things changed. I lived here when WODA took over from Chalet West. It was a hassle getting moved over. We went extremely long periods of time between managers and maintenance that weren't worth a penny a day. Playing favorites with who made the most money. After almost 6 months of nobody in the office.. We got Jennifer. Our new/current and hopefully FOREVER manager. I have went in the past without working necessities for MONTHS. When she moved in she introduced herself and went around asking everyone what was wrong. I thought she came off a tiny bit harsh.. But ohhh no, she was EXTREMELY overwhelmed with how things were run/neglected in the past. I had my new appliances, that I had been without, within 2 weeks. At one point she had asked me if anyone had made me feel poorly. When I reported to her that everybody here had made me feel "like low income", Jennifer exclaimed "never again! I know what it is like.. And you will never be treated this way again, as long as I am here.. Which I plan on being forever." What a relief! Being here so long. Not having anyone to call, never being heard because we were treated "lower than". Before Jennifer I had seen people get things replaced in days.. If they paid a higher rent than I did. Now, EVERYONE is equal. I have to say. This place used to deserve a 1 star. However.. Jennifer is moving mountains. Bettering not only the apartments but her residences lives! She sticks to the rules and is only "disliked" by the people breaking them. A.k.a I would ignore the 1 stars claiming that it is such a terrible place. She is quick, efficient and probably doesn't get paid NEARLY what she is worth. My hope is not that SHE sees this. But that her higher ups do. Jennifer has taken your 1 star apartments to a 5 star experience. Jennifer is your #1 asset here. Hang on to her tight. Because nobody else, (as proven by the high turn around in past manager's), is going to stick around and fight for fair rights like she does. Jennifer has made a huge impact in Manistee Place Apartments, as well as on my own life."

"Horrible place to live.. management is AWFUL! They up your rent without notice. When I lived there the lawn wasn’t mowed in 4 months. There are unsupervised children outside everyday and drug deals going on right in the parking lot. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. That is how bad it was ! Nothing was ever fixed in the apartment because they had NO maintenance! I wouldnt even give that place one star. Unless you want to live in a dump and pay $600 a month.. look elsewhere"
