"Excellent variety. Clean and friendly"

"This is my favorite gas station in Land O Lakes and in all of the Northwoods. They open early and close late which is nice for me and a lot of other working folks around here who need gas and cigarettes and even a cup of hot coffee and a sandwich on their way to work. I trust BP gasoline and on and off road Diesel fuel over the other gas station in town because I have never had a bad tank of gas or a fuel related breakdown using their fuels. They also have ethanol free premium which I run in my boat and while I'm there I can get whatever fishing supplies I need including live bait and they always have the best deal and the most variety of live bait. I like to buy my Marlboros there and they have a discount on them which the other stores do not. Their employees are also very nice and courteous and keep the line moving when it is busy. They see a lot of the same people every day and know what they're coming in for so they keep things moving along efficiently by having my cigarettes already rung up when I walk in the door and all I have to do is pay for them. It's not like they're seeing me for the first time and don't know why I'm there every day at the same time for the same thing. The culture there has certainly shifted for the better since the new owners took over. If I want to use the ATM without having to go to my bank in town after hours where I'm the only car in the parking lot I just use the one at BP because it's only a $2 fee and on a $200 withdrawal that's a mere 1% which is a small price to pay for withdrawing money while I get other commodities I need like gas, cigarettes, a couple bottles of Barq's root beer and sometimes a dollar scratch off lottery ticket just to try my luck without spending a small fortune on a gambling addiction which saves money for my cigarette and root beer addiction. At least I know I'm not going to win anything smoking cigarettes and drinking root beer so I don't get my hopes up only to have them smashed on a $20 lottery ticket that doesn't win me anything. The Land O Lakes BP also has a nice sit down area in the back where my boys and I discuss matters each morning around a hot cup of coffee and congratulate ourselves on being masters of the universe that is Land O Lakes."

"This is a cool little gas station for the geography geeks out there. The Wisconsin/Michigan state line runs right through the store (it doesn't appear this way on Google Maps, but it does on the county GIS site.) The lighter shade of tiles on the floor near the cash register indicates the state line. The nice part about this is it allows the store to sell both WI and MI lottery tickets and fishing licenses. Staff here is also very friendly. Always worth a stop on the way to or from the UP."
