"They moved from WARREN to Waterford but still great service"
"Welcome to the boys club. I put an application after getting all my endorsements specifically to work here because my husband does and was told to get me to get them, then put in an application to get hired when spots opened up. I've always heard great things about Old Dominion (before my husband even got a job here) and even pushed him to get into here. But I've never felt more singled out in my 16years driving then I did after my interview. I was told I'd get a answer on Friday, it never came-on Monday I called and was told (yes I know he didn't have to give a reason) that the VP didn't think it was a good idea for my husband and I to work here because of time off issues. Makes zero sense, anywhere you work regardless of who's there you are either approved or not. Then, as we drivers do, we talk, I found out 2 people were hired in before Friday even happened, so how did the call from the VP on Monday give that reason if the spots were filled. Here's my biggest question-I have 16 years of driving experience, a clean mvr, CH and can pass any drug test you give me, I've also got doubles experience and all of my endorsements needed. So why didn't they jump at my resume like most companies do. Here's my research answer 20% of this company are women, this is all positions. I also found out this location has hired all of 2 women drivers in 10 plus years, none of which are still there, and currently only have 3 women in the terminal and they're office employees. I was also told the VP said I could apply for a position 2 hours away at another terminal, so my application is fine, just not for here. How's that work? *Three month update* Well, least something good came out of this review, they've now hired a woman driver! (Hadda make themselves look like my review was a lie.) I hope she rocks out! OD is a great company. Just the manager here is sexist and not honest."
"Your truck driver suck at driving safely I'm in a small car used my blinker correctly and with maybe two car lengths cuts me off with his huge semitruck that could kill me if I was closer he was coming into my lane cause he didn't wanna stop on his brakes but yes almost hit me and in danger people life way to go 490973 I hope you tell your drives to look and pit a blinker on before making a lane change not put a blinker on as you make the lane change wish I cop saw thay your driver deserves to be ticketed"
"My company has just started getting into shipping out LTL and we've used various companies to ship out to our other locations. Any time I've contacted someone else, I've always felt like I was interrupting them. That is a different story today. I called Old Dominion and spoke with Kim Hedrick there to set up my delivery and then asked her a question about freight class and she was extremely helpful and took her time talking to me about they do freight classing items and sent me information that was able to help us out to better class our shipments. I greatly appreciate her taking her time helping."
"Never used the company but I unfortunately had to call on a driver because he had on his left blinker in the left lane and turned right almost taking me out and I drive a Ford f150 can't miss my truck. But when I called the person I spoke to was so sweet and he was very kind and apologetic to me even tho it wasn't his fault but the drivers. He assured me the driver would be talked to when they got back to the store. So I'd say everything was handled very well. To the driver tho just be careful out there someone could have gotten really hurt."
