"You've had my products since December 6th, That's 4 days my product is just sitting in Romulus with zero snow on the ground. They're also not shorthanded, they get the weekends off during the holidays just like in Clearfield Utah. Also ordered November 21st, it's the 10th of December now."

"Mike the manager as he supposed was a very unprofessional being that hung up on me as I couldn’t pick up my bumper for my vehicle because my address for delivery didn’t match my license. So they kept my package at their facility and will not delivery it to me because they didn’t put it on the truck and won’t let me pick it up. He was extremely ignorant. I would never have anything shipped by them. Horrible customer service, with lack of common sense."

"Pilot freight delivered a TV. This was supposed to be a white glove service. Two men, unpacked and installed the TV. The guys were good folks, respectful and did their job properly, However, there was no white glove instead they had dirty gloves, they walked inside home without shoe covering, the TV carton was very dusty and they brought it in without cleaning the dust off it. Pilot freight provided text and email notification of delivery status and time. Overall they are good but there is room for improvement in making their service excellent."

"Chapter 1. Well where do I start ! I ordered a crockpot for a family reunion. I set up an appointment for it to be shipped a day before I left. I had to call this place more than you could imagine, for them to tell me that it’s not out for delivery after I was told the appointment was good to go. Chapter 2. So I was out getting an oil change on my vehicle. I figured I would call to see what time the delivery would be dropped off. I was shocked and in disbelief for them to tell me that the appointment I made was a no go. So now grandmas famous meat balls are not on the menu ! I don’t wish this on anyone. Chapter 3. Grandpa sadly went to the gates. Now he’s up there with an empty belly and no crockpot ! Conclusion is that I will never receive my crockpot !"

"We had an order from Best Buy being shipped via Pilot Freight Services. When I saw online that the package had arrived at their facility, but wouldn't be delivered for another week, I gave them a call. After reading all these reviews, I was skeptical... I was connected with Dawn, and she was the MOST HELPFUL customer service representative I have spoken to in a long time. She took the time to track down my order, (physically going into the warehouse to confirm it was there) and explain that it was scheduled to be picked up and delivered by a third party shipper. When I asked if I could pick it up myself, she offered to call and make sure they could release the package to an individual, and give me a call back. Not an hour later, she called me back and let me know we could pick it up with ID. She put a big sign on it to make sure it didn't inadvertently get moved onto the third party shipper, and told me exactly where to go to pick it up. My husband was able to get it the same day, and said the people working in the warehouse were friendly and helped him load the large item into his vehicle. Couldn't have been easier. Moral of the story? Don't believe all the negative reviews. Call and talk to an actual person (like Dawn), be friendly, and you are likely to get help if you need it. I think many of the people encountering issues are probably dealing with the third party shippers, not Pilot."
