"In the name of honesty, Midas gave me a discount off my oil change today to write this review, but I would give them a 5-Star Review anyway. I started coming here after my last place didn't replace a valve correctly and would cost me $$$ to fix because I was leaking oil all over my engine; Midas of Monroe fixed the damage and did it for a reasonable price and with great communication through the whole process. That was over two years now, and my whole family and our fleet of cars go here for all of our car needs. They're always honest, helpful, up front, and happy to help us out with any questions. When I purchased a new used vehicle, they were the shop we trusted to do a thorough check-over. And I appreciate that they don't try to up-sell products to me or make a fuss when I ask them to "call my Dad about that one"! Midas of Monroe is a solid business and one I recommend to all of my friends and Monroe locals!"

"please take your car anywhere else!!! Absolutely terrible experience brought my car in complaining about a shake when I would apply the brakes from 60 to 40 mph. I was informed that it was my car would need shoes and a side alignment to the front brakes and new lug nuts. These services were provided for 600 I was told that my drums were in good enough condition, but we recommend you replace them at some point. I made an appointment to do such on the fifth of January two weeks after the first appointment. My car was clearly never test driven before being released to me because the same problem persisted when I called back and asked why it was still doing this. They told me that replacing the drums on the fifth should take care of the issue and that I would be fine till then. This was clearly not true because my tire began to overheat the next morning on the road to work. Luckily, I did not blow out, but it lost all air, had to get it towed to a different midus at my own expense. they switched the drums in hopes that the overheating issue would stop which it did, but I had to replace the tire pay them to do more work lose a whole days income at work and hilariously enough they were able to diagnose it as a suspension issue. Some thing they said they probably could’ve done if they were able to drive it back when it had a functioning tire which the first midus definitely had an opportunity to do. I believe that they misdiagnosed my issue willingly or negligently decided to sell me products that I didn’t fully need and in doing so caused new damages to my car by introducing issues that were never prevalent before services were provided. They never address the problem that I brought my car in for. I simply asked for a refund of “service” charges with I think is more then fair given the missed diagnosis miss information and experience accrued from damage is done from service. They informed me that they simply can’t issue me a refund without me filing a claim-I was at first given the runaround informing me that information would be on my invoice which it was not. And then given a number for somebody who sent me straight to voicemail not expecting them to do the right thing they’re just gonna drag their feet until eventually have to pull them into small claims court but do yourself a favor avoid a headache and take your car literally anywhere else or really don’t even fix the problem you think you have they’re gonna make it worse-"
