"Mike's shop is what a local bike should be - friendly, helpful and with the stuff you need! My daughter and I just finished riding west coast to east coast - a few weeks ago, about 12 miles from Battle Creek, we had the dreaded Shimano shifter issue - we rode to Mike's shop just as it opened. While they were backed up with other work (and short a couple of mechanics), Mike had an old used shifter he gave us, plus space and tools for me to get it fixed. The icing on the cake was that he then called his mother and arranged for us to stay at her house - great lady and good company. Many many thanks - got us out of a bind and provided hospitality!"

Not only did I learn a lot about how to take care of it, but they made sure everything was working properly and fixed a couple things pretty much free of charge.
