"My mother Mary Lou Stevens James just told me that she had her wedding shower there in the early 1950s and there were 100 people in attendance. It is a lovely memory for her. Her grandmother Alice Van Wegen was an early member."
"Held an event here and they blew me away! They have all the dishes and a kitchen and an older antique style classy atmosphere. Easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!"
"This house is part of the Historic Building Survey and was built prior to 1842 by Arden Ballard. It is an example of Greek Revival architecture. It was purchased by the Ladies Library Club in 1913. In 1965, an historical marker was placed near the building."
"Very nice historical building. My mother in law hosted my bridal shower here and it was lovely."
"My wife had her bridal shower here and it was a very nice place. I believe you have to know someone who belongs to the club that you use it, but it's a fantastic historic building and the setup and service was great."
