"Nice clean park. Catch and release pond, walking trails and there is a No-Leash dog area ( $30 a year for access to all dog areas) with open running and tree covered area."
"First time visiting and it was wonderful! Would be so awesome if people could pitch a hot tent during winter months. Definitely will be back so peaceful and lots of beautiful things to take in. Need a diaper changing station in women's restroom id recommend."
"Very nice park. My pups loved it. FREEDOM... Yes...."
"Beautiful and clean public park with activities for nature lovers of all ages. We went to Luhr Park for a child's birthday party and took the opportunity to walk around. I expected trails, local pollinator flowers, and picnic pavilions with restrooms. What pleasantly surprised me was their cleanliness, as well as the wide array of activities available. There are two picnic pavilions, several kids play areas, a playground, a workout area, a large off-leash dog run, and a very nice nature activity center geared towards young children. The nature center was especially nice, with interactive displays and educational stations for ages 3+. All were clean and well-maintained. We weren't able to walk the trails before the rain started falling, but was impressed with the beauty in the rest of the park. We will be back soon!"
"Great park with walking trails and lots of playground equipment. Caught a few bluegills. This guy was hanging out by the outhouse. Took a walk on the back trails which was amazingly peaceful. 4/12/21 Went and walked all/most of the trails and let the dogs off leash in the dog park. Let's just say they are very tired now. I've been to a couple state parks and Luhr is still my favorite."
