"Do not trust this man! He is the epitome of what gives local businesses in the Soo a bad reputation. Note: I have refrained from posting a review, and have given this man every opportunity to make things right, but we have been screwing around with him for a year and I am done! In 2021 we started planning our move from Arizona to Michigan. We were quoted a price that was supposed to include 2 trucks, a crew of 6-8, loading, transport, and unloading. Our home in Arizona sold and as the date approached the true nature of this man started to become very clear. First about 1 week before move day he called saying his cost to rent the trucks doubled and that he needed more money; in addition said he needed a loan to cover the cost of labor for his crew. Given it was the height of the moving season, we were 1 week out from move day, the house was sold , we needed to be out, and I had just had spinal surgery about 45 days before, we were stuck. Under duress we gave him the money and continued packing. We received the next call about a week later with him saying he could only get 1 truck and could we get rid of more of our stuff. Again we capitulated and instead of bringing additional furniture and what not, which we were going to give to our Michigan family members I found someone in need and gave them 2 bedrooms of furniture, sold my garage fridge and freezer, sold our sectional and kitchen table to the new owners. The list goes on. At the end of the day we told him even though we had gotten rid of even more of our things we weren't confident he would be able to fit everything into a single truck. He agreed that if it wasn't possible to fit everything he would get a second smaller truck in Phoenix. Packing and loading day arrives and goes. His crew is still driving, driving day and night. They arrived 2 days late, without tools or moving dollies and they're completely exhausted. He was also supposed to get another 4 people in Phoenix to help his crew. Nope, his crew is on their own. 3 guys and no tools. Now being behind the eight ball we have relatives helping stage boxes so these guys can load. Everyone is working like dogs trying to get on the road. Stress is through the roof. And they aren't going to be finished before our flight to Michigan. We have no choice but to leave , entrusting our family to finish up with them and close the house up for the new owners. They aren't finished and we needed to negotiate with the new owners to allow us to stay longer while Paul's crew continues to get stuff loaded. Once we arrive in Michigan we get the next call, they can't fit all the stuff in one truck and he says he can't find another truck anywhere in Phoenix, so Paul sends a "friend" to our house who then starts offering to buy our stuff! I tell my family to send this guy away. The next call is to tell me they didn't get a truck , but an open air flatbed trailer. He gets a flatbed trailer and it was storming across the country and the remaining items can't be in the open. So then they start talking about unloading part of the truck to rearrange things! I tell him no we are out of time and I am not asking the new owners for yet another extension. Fast forward they finally arrive in Michigan and I am pretty sure the guys I saw in Phoenix quit, because now there are new guys, and not 3, just 2. Essentially they just dump everything and leave. Of course as we unpack we find damage, but the only damage I hold his feet to the fire on is my TV, why? Because I bought a heavy duty box with heavy duty foam corners etc. Would they use that? Well sort of. They jammed the TV into the box without the foam corners and apparently dropped it. So it's shattered. Here we are a year later. He hasn't paid back the "loan" , for a crew he never hired in Phoenix and he hasn't given us all the money from the insurance claim for the TV. Does he even have insurance? Did he commit insurance fraud? I am tired of typing and the more I think about the more my stomach hurts. Learn from my mistake, don't be a fool, don't hire this tool."

"I hired Mr. Perry to move me temporarily and then back to my home after repairs were finished. He was very friendly when he came to give me an estimate. We agreed that he would pack my belongings, move them to my temporary residence and unpack my stuff then do it again when my home was finished. The first day he said he was coming, he never showed up. When he was a couple hours late I called him and he said he never said he was coming that day. That was the beginning of a very bad ordeal for me. Over the next week he would show up for an hour or so and take off and come back another day. That went on for about a week until the first move was finally completed. When he brought the last box in to my temporary residence he told me they don't unpack anything. He was paid $4600 to pack my belongings, move me down a hallway, unpack my belongings and redo it all going back to my residence a couple months later. He never unpacked anything. He lied to my face telling me he never said they would unpack my belongings and that they never unpack anything. He cheated me out of a great deal of money. If you decide to use this guy make sure to protect yourself by getting a detailed list of what he has agreed to do and how much he is charging you incase you need to take him to Court. If you are using him for a to and from like I did don't give him the money for the second job until he is doing it. That way you can change your mind and hire someone else. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional in my lifetime. It was a huge fail."

He had excellent communication throughout the process, and his team did a really great job packing and moving our belongings to the new house.
