"What a tribute to our military. Mostly Air Force. The Folds of Glory display was wonderful. Look at the tappers. A must visit. I did not golf here but I am told you can see the American flag from every hole and at 1:00 they play Taps every day. Everyone stops and honors all of the fallen soldiers."

"I had high expectations of American Dunes, but at the same time wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Sometimes, courses are linked to elite names and fall short and don't live up to the hype. American Dunes is obviously a Jack design, and it blew away all expectations! I haven't played a Nicklaus course I didn't like, some better than others (Bear Mountain's 2 in Vancouver Island being at the top of my list), but American Dunes is easily a top 5 course I've played and I'm debating where it lands on my list. From the moment you arrive and walk thru the memorial, you know you're somewhere special that's more than another destination club. With a deep respect for our service men and women, and the sacrifice they have made for us, it's hard to walk thru it and not feel emotions. At 1300, Taps is played and heard from every corner of the course and everyone pauses for a moment to give respect and take in the meaning of this place. The stories found all around the course on plaques placed at each tee box tell incredible stories of brave men and women who gave all and asked for nothing. The plaques are accompanied by celebrations of each of Jack's 18 majors. The course itself is immaculate. Greens were at 11.4 on the stimp and the fairways were in perfect condition. I can't think of one critique to make, despite firing an 89 with 2 birdies from the Valor tees. I'm emitting so many details that add to the alure of American Dunes, but you all need to discover them for yourself. I cannot wait to come back sooner than later; It deserves a spot on every golfer'sbucket list. It truly is "The church Jack Built""

"Went to American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven with buddies who are veterans. Great experience and course with lots of MI native sand dunes. The Honor wall and the stories at every tee box are inspiring and makes you appreciate the military men and women that paid the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. Would highly suggest this as a place to stay and play. Difficult course that requires precision over distance. Fairways, rough, tee boxes and greens are all in excellent shape. Well done to the grounds crew."

The customer service is top notch, the clubhouse and restaurant are fantastic, the patio is beautiful and the course design and course conditions are superb.
