Reviews of Traverse City Pit Spitters
"Went for an international fireworks competition. Seats were originally sold out, but the venue added seats in the infield, and we ended up with much better sears than the bleachers. The seats were folding chairs set a bit to close together, but it was tolerable. This was the first time this venue has hosted an event of this kind, and they did a good job for the most part. The main complaint we had was the wait in a VERY long line to enter with no arrangement for disabled patrons. Parking was very close to the main entrances (2) but the line was at very least 400 people forcing people to walk a long distance and stand or wait in their car until the line shortened ( 1 1/2 hours at least. ) Abundant CLEAN portapotties were available on the infield. No lines!! There was food, water, sodas, and alcohol available, but again, very long lines. The staff was very efficient, however, so the wait wasn't terribly long - it was a big overpriced, in my opinion. Other than those small annoyances, we enjoyed the competition very much and plan to return next year. Hopefully they will work out the kinks by then."
"We always enjoy coming to the game. The team is fun to watch, and the park is lovely. They have a good selection of souvenirs, the prices are reasonable, and the between innings entertainment is fun. They have great giveaways and special events, and the food is good. What more do you need?"
"Fantastic ballpark and always a great experience. Beautiful field and facility. Not a bad seat there. Plenty of helpful staff and they keep the games moving so they don't last 3 hours."
"Very beautiful stadium. The staff was very polite, helpful and attentive. Thank you for a great family experience. I look forward to what they have to offer later in the season!! Thank ya fellas for the great entertainment"
"Everything at turtle Creek Stadium is wheelchair accessible along with the parking too! We saw the nitro circus there and it was great. Very close to the hotel and they have food here but a little pricey. We ate before we arrived because the restaurant was so close"
