Reviews of Subway
"PLEASE CHECK YOUR MEATBALLS! I BOUGHT A MEATBALL SUB TODAY AND AS I BIT INTO MY SECOND HALF I BIT INTO SOMETHING HARD VERY HARD. I CAN NOT TELL WHAT IT IS. TOOTH? SOME SORT OF BONE FROM SOMETHING?"
"I had a unique experience here today. When I walked in I noticed they were extremely slow completing orders despite 3 people behind the counter. When it got to be my turn, I ordered a footlong Italian herb and cheese spicy Italian with the pepperoni on top of the salami and toasted. He asked me 3 times if I want it toasted. The first time I said yes please and the second time I said you already asked me that and he proceeded to tell me that he has short-term memory loss and then asked me a third time whichp I said yes for the third time now and each time I got more irritated. He also wasn't putting the correct amount of meat and put 8 pieces of pepperoni and salami on the sandwich and I corrected him and said it was 10 each. He told me that he's Mexican and that's how he counts. He then argued with me and said there was 10 each and then offered to count it and he counted out 8 pieces and then apologized for the error, but then never put two more pieces of each on. One of the other kids behind the counter said I was being hard on him and rude and he was trying to defend him for making so many mistakes. Both of my daughters ordered the same thing as me and he asked me if I wanted the pepperoni on top and I said yes please and he put the salami on top the opposite of requested and then I pointed it out and he flipped it over and apologized. I'm all for giving everyone an opportunity for employment, but this is definitely not a job for somebody with short-term memory loss when you are trying to get orders correct and get people in and out quickly and keep the line moving and not make the customers mad. The lady behind me in line defended him as well and said that she was a manager in customer service and understood the stress that he was under at that position. I felt I was pretty patient, but when I pay for a sandwich, especially after recent price increases and then they can't even put the correct amount of meat in after it's been pointed out is rather irritating and made me feel like they didn't care about the customer. Anybody in customer service and the food industry knows the customer is always right and you prepare the way that the customer requests. I wasn't in a rush, but I can only imagine how I would have felt if I was in a rush trying to grab a sub on a lunch break or something. I am a paying customer and I completely felt like they didn't care at all. The other co-worker that claimed I was being rude went in the back area after shift change and was telling all of the other workers about the situation and snickering about the situation. The kid that made all of the errors apologize numerous times and even gave me some free cookies. I worked at Subway like twenty years ago in my younger days and I have worked many jobs as a cook in restaurants and I was a manager of a restaurant and now I own my own business, so I understand customer service pretty well. Without customers there is no business."
"Excellent service, friendly and engaging workers with a good attitude. Would recommend."
"Ordered online. Mistake#1. Got there and my order had not even been started.Waited over 20 minutes and got home to find, soggy, cold, not correctly prepared food...Never again.."
