"The Hawkes Nest is by far one of the best sports cards and memorabilia shops I've ever been to. I've been stopping in for the last 15+ years every time we go through Minocqua/Woodruff. Michael is a truly awesome guy who has a passion for sports and tons of industry knowledge. He's also super well priced and VERY fair on trades/and appraisals. The guy is top notch and this business is awesome. If you like football, basketball, baseball, hockey - you need to stop into the shop asap. You won't be disappointed. He also does tons of flea markets, and card shows in and around the area. Michael, thank you for many years of kindness, top notch customer service, and a passion for sports. We've had some great times and awesome pulls! The Hawke's Nest in Woodruff, WI is where it is at - go now. P.S. I know in one of the past editions of Beckett magazine, the shop was ranked as one of the top collectible/card shops in the country! This place is great!!!"
