"Best hand pick produce around, especially the apple's! I've been going there since I was a kid and now take my kids to hand pick apple's. Good family time! Huge variety of apple's and other fresh produce. Definitely check before you go to see what's is season via Social media which is really up to date or Website. And they also have a general store with a good variety of fresh farmers market and a bakery worth checking out also."

"My family and I went apple picking at this orchard. I will start on a positive note and say that their bakery with apple donuts was delicious and the staff there was kind. The tractors that drove you out to the orchards were very frequent, and all the drivers were very kind and friendly as well. There were plentiful apples to pick from- and very juicy and tasty. However, my family and I will not be coming here again. We have been to several farms and orchards at this point, and we have never been treated so poorly by management and the cashiers as we had at Garwood. Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen such terrible customer service anywhere period. As you leave the orchard with your apples, you are “checked” at the exit. They have dogs sniffing you, they ask to check your purses and belongings; it feels very accusatory and wrong. (I’ve never been to a farm where they go in with the mindset that people are here to steal! I mean, apples are heavy! How many apples could someone fit into their purse anyways??) Upon arriving, we were told, “fill up your boxes with apples as much as you can, the apples can be piled up.” And as we were walking out of the farm with our full boxes, we were stopped by management and told the boxes were too full. We tried to show them that we indeed can carry our boxes without apples falling over, but they wouldn’t even let us, they just started grabbing our apples out of our boxes and putting them into a different box, all without asking if they can TOUCH our apples. Why would I want someone’s germs all over my freshly picked apples?! Also, how rude that they wouldn’t listen to us and instead just started touching all our boxes. They then demanded that we pay an additional $30 for the additional box they took out, and wouldn’t let you leave until you agreed to do so, otherwise they were ready to call the police. I mean, I’ve never seen these kind of antics at any farm! If you want a drama free experience, please, just take your kids and family elsewhere. Management is money hungry and treats everyone like a big dollar sign. If you saw how many apples are wasting away under the apples trees and how many of them are decaying, you’d be shocked at how greedy and stingy management is with their apples. Maybe they should focus more on saving or picking more of those apples and making money that way, rather than chasing down each customer over an apple."

"I absolutely love this place! The customer service people and staff are the sweetest group of people we’ve ever met. Just a good vibe from everyone. This place is beautiful. We visited on a beautiful sunny day, but I suspect even if the sun isn’t shining, this farm would still take your breath away. We didn’t plan on coming. We were driving by and my husband remembered there was an apple orchard nearby, and he wanted to pick some apples. Turns out in June, it’s too early for apple season, so we picked apples and bought a basket of peaches. The peaches are so delicious and fresh and can rival any peaches grown down south. (Watch out Georgia and South Carolina!) The strawberries are delicious too! They are fresh and huge! It was a great experience, one I will not soon forget. I will be back in the fall to get some apples and maybe a pumpkin and some squash. We plan on canning the peaches and turning the strawberries into jam and preserves. They also grow and sell other fruits and vegetables too. The baskets start at $5 and the minimum to spend is $20 so not expensive at all considering how much fruit you get. Don’t wait, run to this wonderful farm! Take your family too. It’s very family friendly! 10/10 highly recommended!!"
