"Johnny is a fantastic asset to Novi Powerhouse! He does an excellent job as front desk manager, his crew is always smiling and makes me feel beyond welcomed at Novi Powerhouse! I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area, I even drive 25 minutes to come here over anywhere else. "I have just joined Powerhouse Gym, and I am impressed with the wide variety of equipment and other features. The equipment seems to all be maintained in a good condition, and it all seems to be very clean. Unlike my previous gym, it seems as if the people surrounding me are all doing different kinds of workouts. That gives me the opportunity to learn from what they are doing. I am looking forward to trying more types of equipment in the coming weeks, and possibly trying some of the classes. The racquetball courts are currently closed, but I am looking forward to their re-opening. (That is one of the most unique features at Powerhouse)."

"Amazing atmosphere, super clean, great equipment and options, the staff and members are kind. I like how there are all different kinds of people, from beginners to hard core bodybuilders and everyone is focused on their own health and fitness so they don't have time to be judgemental of others who are there also working on their health and fitness. Amazing value for the membership price as this location has a pool, woman's only area, and allows access to other clubs in the case of this club being closed for some reason. They also have a childcare option so you can bring your child to hangout and be supervised while you get your workout in. I've never been to one, but they also have a lot of fitness classes if that's your thing."

"I wish I had an option for a different gym however, this is the only one with a significant amount of weights and they know that. The women's locker room has been 75-85 degrees for months now and every time you ask about it you get a different answer. I have felt faint at times in there and they don't care. They legit told me it was because of the blow dryers. I am there at 430 in the morning. It isn't the blow dryers. They removed all the racks from the showers (that do work) so now you have to put your stuff on the gross the ground when you shower. 3 times this month there have not been any towels in bin. I pay an additional fee for the towel service and yet I have been left without a shower towel 3 times. I commute in and have to shower for work at this gym. I tried to get a response about the towels before and received nothing back. If you ask about it the front desk will just blame the night staff. The front staff has no idea their policies and you get a different response every time. Most of the machines are broken or make some awful beeping noise. In addition when I joined 3 years ago they told me the hours were temporary and that they would be going back to 24 hours shortly. They never happened either. I feel like my monthly fee should have been adjusted to account for the changes that were never made. This gym is a joke but they know that they are the largest, the only ones with a pool, and a good weight selection, so they don't care about customer service or anything. It will take someone passing out in the locker room or getting seriously injured before they make any changes. I am already bracing for the obstacles that will come when I try to cancel."

"I have have been touring gyms that are local to me and I have to say this location is beautiful, spacious, and clean. They have a women's gym space upstairs, twerk/ pole fitness, lap pool, child care, and lots of other things. I have not considered strength training until coming to the Powerhouse. I felt very comfortable in the environment they created. The people and staff is very friendly. I had a great workout and I honestly can't wait until the next time."
