"If you enjoy a corned beef or pastrami sandwich this is a where you want to go here in Grand Rapids! The staff is great and the sandwiches are awesome! Whenever I'm in the area near Schnitz and I catch them when they are open I almost always grab a sandwich! They gave a couple different varieties of cakes for dessert as well that are pretty tasty."

"Classic deli serving up amazing sandwiches in unchanged 90's style digs. Everything is good but my personal fave is the Brooklyn Reuben. Ample, juicy pastrami, Swiss, Kraut, Thousand Island, on perfect pumpernickel bread fresh from the bakery. These guys have been around a long time and for good reason! They have 4-5 different takes on the Reuben as well as many other faves but you can also build your own sandwich or customize anything. Daily rotating soups are a perfect pairing or standalone meal."

It’s always busy, but the staff is friendly and the line moves fast. People love the sandwiches here. They pile the meat high and put it between really tasty bread. The sauces and extras they add are yummy too. It’s just a really good, big sandwich that makes for a great meal. It’s easy to see why folks like to come here. The food is straightforward but really good. It's the kind of place you might find yourself going back to over and over because you know you're going to get something delicious. The sandwiches are made with care and you can taste it."

"I got a number 9. It was absolutely delicious. I also got a side of coleslaw( it’s not creamy it’s oil & vinegar) & chicken jalapeño soup which was also amazing. Very busy around 12 but had amazing service & very happy faces! Definitely will be back to try more of the menu!"
