Cinemark Ann Arbor 20 and IMAX

"I have watched many movies (normal and IMAX) here and have had good experiences - the most recent movies I watched here were Bramayugam and Premalu in February 2024. The theatre is large and has a very good selection of movies, including international ones (which usually get good showtimes). The seats are very comfortable and reclining. The IMAX seats do not recline, however, and seem to be old and outdated. If booking tickets online there are convenient kiosks to pick them up from. The food here is good. The only negative experience that I have had here occurred in October 2023. I was going to the IMAX first-day-first show of Leo - apparently, the non-IMAX version of the movie was played on the IMAX screen, which didn’t play properly. The theatre staff were notified and fixed the issue, and the movie started 30 minutes late. The interval was also skipped, presumably due to time constraints with the delay. This seems like an isolated incident - overall, this theatre is a great theatre to watch movies at."

"I haven’t been to this theater in about 7 years. It’s had a major upgrade and it’s beautiful. I would’ve given 5 stars but there was a system glitch. (I’m assuming) Bought tickets when we arrived, went to our seats and there were 2 people sitting in them. Come to find out they had the same tickets. (They ordered that morning online) Not a huge deal but had to move a few time as apparently G is a popular row. Never had this issue before at a movie theater. Technology at it’s finest."

"This theater is great, tickets and concessions are surprisingly affordable. The whole system of buying tickets/concessions is a nice flow, though it would be nice to at least get free drink refills. The theaters themselves are really nice, with comfortable seats and small table trays. Some of them are really large, but even in a large theater full of people the viewing experience feels private. Staff is usually friendly and helpful :)"

"So happy they are open again. Service was exceptional and their cleanliness is like that of a hospital. They've always been a clean theater, but due to the pandemic, it's a whole new level of cleaning. The way their seats are arranged makes it easy to social distance and feel safe. If you go to the first movie of the day, ticket prices are less than $6 and there will not be any traffic. Don't delay, go see a movie today!"

"Beautiful theater with reclining leather seats. The theatre and the concession stands are very clean. The bathroom is very clean. They have a few arcade games, an air hockey table, and a claw machine. So leave a little time after the movie to enjoy that while you finish up your snack. Plenty of parking. I recently visited this theater because they had an exclusive interactive movie release for kids! BLIPPI!!! Which was only in theatres for 1 week. I drove almost an hour so my kiddo could watch his very first movie in a theatre!! This was the best decision I could have made. Bonus: Is that they have a good amount of ads before this show. This is great bc I honestly don't like to rush getting my tickets, and snacks, or stress over what should be an enjoyable time! We had an amazing time. I really hope to visit again soon."
