A business's ladder fell on my car, the business was extremely helpful and insured by the Hartford. 4 months later still dealing with the damage, absolutely no communication from the Hartford unless you contact them. Nothing but a run around, I would never, under any circumstance use this company."

"Horrible service, the analyst doesn’t ever call you back, everyone I spoke with gave me different information and it’s been over a month and still no payment or no information about the delay. I am furious and the people in customer service are just there because they can’t read the screen right some barely speak English and it’s a sad shame to treat people like this."

"Hartford has an archaic process to request a quote. You cannot request a quote online or talk to a representative; you have to fill out a form and mail it in. I did this, because I heard rates were competitive. I have been waiting over two weeks and no response. If service is this bad when I am a new, potential customer, I cannot image how bad it would be as a customer. No thanks!"

"0/5 Stars One of the worst insurance companies ever. They claim to care about your health and wellness. They don't. They could careless.... I have a neurological issue going on were I've had to get 2 MRIs and seeing my doctor quite a bit trying to figure it out. My doctor recommended I dont drive until they figure out what's causing these issues and we set up an appointment for neurology but it would be a few months. I had sent over all this information to the Hartford so I could get disability to help me pay off my almost 10k in medical debt now and they denied it. Basically said they know more then doctors and im fine. Even told me I can drive to do work. Who are these people and how are they licensed to decide things like this? So now I have no income, can't walk around and function properly so I can't work, will soon run out of money to pay my bills. I wish the company I worked for had picked someone that actually cared and did research into what they can do to help me."

"Had major accident May 3rd 2022. Filed a claim and this company has done nothing except give me and the auto body shop that they recommended, might I mention in another town from my location. Never asking me .. the run around. The adjuster and the appraiser can't seem to get together and resolve this claim. This is now going into 60 days and rental ended that they pay a portion of after 30 days. This is ridiculous, the service I am receiving is beyond what any insured person should have to tolerate. I have for many years had the Hartford as my insurance for auto and home and never had a claim except others do small things to my car. Now when I get in a situation where I need my car and the service from them I am getting the run around."
