"Customer service was amazing from the moment I walked in, greeted and helped right away. I didn’t need to walk around the store in search of what I was looking for. My salesman Mr. Anthony took the lead right away which in the end helped me spend less time searching and instead finding exactly what I came for. The lay out of the store was very simple for me to locate the perfect dining set options all close by and not spread out everywhere. Normally I spend hours in furniture stores searching, and contemplating and then checking out . Anthony was very hands on with not only selling the dining set but assisting me with finding the perfect one and not just pushing products on me. And checking out was very quick and easy!! It made me want to only come back to shop at this location. I’m very satisfied and can’t wait for my dining set to arrive! I’ll be back to see Anthony for the rest of my furnishings. "I’ve come back to edit my review. We gave Gardener White 5 stars after our visit to purchase a new mattress. The mattress we bought is wonderful. The delivery was great. The salesman, Mike, was very nice and knowledgeable about their products, but he failed to mention one small detail. After selling us a $200.00 pillow, which comes in at least 3 different sizes, the one I left with and tried for 1 night was too large. I brought it back to GW to exchange it for the next size smaller only to be told that they don’t accept bedding returns. Mike the salesman NEVER explained this to us. How it works is, they give you a “sample” pillow that they think would work for you and the way you sleep to try while you look at mattresses. This is not a very reliable way to test a pillow. It’s difficult to evaluate a pillow while only using it for a couple minutes on the different mattresses we looked at. Ultimately, we were comparing mattresses on how they felt and not so much on how the pillow felt. If I would have known about their return policy I would have tried a couple different pillows to see which was more comfortable. As it is now, I’m stuck with a $200.00 pillow in my closet that I can’t use. I have never been a fan of “salespeople” and this is exactly why. I should have been told to evaluate the pillow as much as I evaluated the mattress because they can’t be returned!!"
"HORRIBLE customer service. Picked up a dresser from them immediately came home and opened the box and it was damaged so we called and asked if we could bring it back and pick up a new one and they informed me that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. I said that I would not be paying that so now they have a send out a service person to see if it can be fixed but they cannot come out until Friday. Everybody we spoke with was incredibly rude and could not help us in anyway. I will never purchase anything from Gardner white again"
"Horrible experience! Ordered more than $7000 worth of NEW furniture including living room, dining room, and a mattress. When everything showed up I noticed there was discoloration on all of the living room set (which came in alreaey put together - Red Flag) as well as some red spots throughout. I noticed it and they said they could fix it. Little did I know, it was a used couch that they tried passing it off to me as New. Went back and forth several times, they agreed to replace one couch that was really discolored and then the delivery guys noticed felt pads (from a previous owner). Then I let them know about this and then they finally agreed to replace all of the used pieces for the living room. All of them had felt pads from a previous owner which finally made them agree to change them, otherwise they didn't want to change them. All the new couch pieces required them to be put together when they arrived here (unlike the used ones they brought). They made me stay home for 3 days (three separare deliveries/pick ups) and one technician visit until everything was rectified. I had to take half days and full days off from work in order to be home. Not to mention all the phone calls to them trying to get them to just give me what I ordered, NEW furniture. Overall this furniture buying experience has been very stressful and regretful. When you spend this much money and buying something New then you expect to get what you pay for. Their customer service was also very much unwilling to help throughout the process until I had proof that their items were used (felt pads came already placed on the bottom of the couch pieces from previous owners). Its a shame to see this sort of practice from such a reputable business."
