"This is a nice neighborhood park that's good for kids. The playground is fun for little ones with slides, swings, monkey bars, and sandbox. There is a baseball field and basketball courts. Note, there is no bathroom."
"Virginia Park is an Old West Side gem. The playground is shaded most of the day and the donated toys in the giant sand box are loved by many. Near the playground are a station to get poop bags for the many dogs walkers that come through, as well as a water fountain complete with a dog bowl for thirsty pups. There's a baseball diamond, a basketball court, and a soccer pitch, as well as a few picnic tables in various spots."
"Stopped by here after leaving downtown A2 to let our 7 year old blow off some steam. The play structure was decent, but there was a lot of garbage lying around, and the grass was in desperate need of a mow. The kid got bored pretty quickly (more quickly that he typically does at other parks) and wanted to take off. I think it would be best for the younger kids, and it definitely needs a little bit better upkeep."
"Its very beautiful although there's a play area on the sand of a hippo that seems to have a big black wasp nest. It doesn't have grills. Everything else is a delight."
