Reviews of Escape Room Zone
"This was my first time doing an escape room. My group and I (5 total) did the Bank Heist with Jena (JMoney) as our gamemaster. Jena was great, she gave us clues and even gave us some extra time because we were so close to escaping (which we did). I would definitely come back and do an easier escape room."
"Jenna was a great game master! My group has such a fun time escaping from the Temple Run room. Jenna made sure we knew the rules and goal of the room. I can't wait to go back and try the Bank Heist with Jenna as our game master!"
"We had a kid party here. When I called to book the event, in which I called several times until I got through to someone. The girl that answered said that the kids will do two 30 minute rooms then have pizza and drinks in the “banquet” room. I asked if decorations, tablecloths and paper ware would be included or should I supply them, she said they were included. Also, that someone would be there to manage the party. Upon arriving, we were walked back to the room and it consisted of two round tables with black table clothes and several different type chairs in an area that looked like a break room kitchen area. There were a ton of chairs staked by the wall and a long table behind the round tables. You could not even maneuver around the round tables because there was a dolly in the way on one side and a shop vac on the other side. The floors were filthy! The room was also across from the rage rooms, where people were smashing things. The man that was working was great, but he was there alone and had to manage the rooms and our party at the same time. He brought out plates and cups with two pitchers of soda. I set up and cleaned up the entire party. The kids didn’t even have napkins. The kids loved the escape rooms but I would definitely not pay $350 for that again!"
"Let me be clear: 5 stars for the Alcatraz room. We’ve been to a lot of escape rooms and we didn’t necessarily expect to escape this difficult room, but we were able to enjoy it despite the AWFUL customer service. This 1-star review is for their employee, Jamie. First, we knew we’d be handcuffed for this room, but when you still have marks on your arms at the end of the hour from how tight he made them… that’s a bit much. This is all I’ll say about this: if you are blindfolding and handcuffing people and locking them in cells… you need to make sure people feel safe and can enjoy the experience. I can tell you 0/6 people appreciated Jamie’s inconsiderate and pompous attitude- he acted this way before and after we were in the room… and he was dressed like Indiana Jones for another room so it it wasn’t for the “experience.” Second, all of our friends had babysitters at home with their kids. We understand why there are rules about not having your phone in the room, however, they asked to keep them incase there was an emergency and Jamie’s only responses to these parents were “if you don’t trust your babysitter, you probably shouldn’t be out,” and “it’s all in the waiver.” Yes, we understood it was in the waiver… we’re not new to escape rooms. We were simply asking for some compassion or even a creative solution. Thirdly, in no world is it appropriate to ask for customers’ car keys, put them in a bucket behind the desk, and not lock them up. You’re telling me that after the way Jamie treated us, I’m supposed to trust the car keys and car directly outside to him… while we’re locked away in an escape room? Nope."
