"Got a room for the Lions playoff game. If you’re looking to save money and be close to Ford Field this place is perfect, we walked there and back with no problem. Room had no dirt or bugs. Don’t go into this expecting the Ritz and you’ll be happy with your stay. Jan, the manager, was absolutely wonderful. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks Jan!"

"If there was a Kitchen Nightmare's Show about hotels, this should be the first stop because HOLY HELL it was dirty. Maggots and bedbugs and lice crawling out the WAZOO. The best thing about this place is freaking roof because there's no bedbugs there (not alive at least) and you can make a swift exit off this planet"

"I needed a place to live near the city for work. I don't drive so coming here was a tremendous blessing it's so close. Many apartments in the area are very expensive and unavailable. I choose the extended stay option here which will save you even more. That is if you're allowed. This location is also very selective. There simply is no place in Detroit like this Hotel. It's a hidden GEM! It's not perfect but it's pretty close to everything. Large rooms! New Heating & AC, New Paint and Beds. Great parking lot secured with walls & Cameras. The General Manager Jan and her husband running the place are helpful, kind and responsible. Years ago the community around here was destroyed by the economy of the Casinos. It certainly reflects that if you look at the history of this place. But the surrounding area has improved tremendously. Certainly the Hotel has as well. Save money near the city and enjoy the security with great parking."

"10/10 will book again! Let’s be real clear on a few things first though. You get what you pay for! We came into town for the P!NK concert, and to sightsee. We were going to use the room for a collective 8 hours, so we didn’t need much. We were super early for checkin and Jan let us know she was cleaning our room, so it would be 30 minutes or so before we could check in. Totally ok, seeing as we were early and she was multitasking. Came back 45 minutes later and checked in. My wife was in pest control for over a decade, so I have my very own bedbug/pest inspector. We were all good! The room was clean, and pest free. Pretty much all we could ask for! There are a total of 31 rooms on 2 floors. We were on the 1st floor and loved the easy access. It’s also totally fenced (read cinderblock) in with security cameras, so pretty safe. Overall, we will be coming back here for all of our Detroit trips! Great price, PHENOMENAL location, and amazing service!"

"Not like what the bad reviews say. Went for the Taylor Swift concert and had to walk here and back from Ford Field stadium. All went well!! The people at front desk are super nice. Although not luxurious, you get what you paid for. No bugs, no dirt. Would recommend for a one night or two. The area seems fairly safe as well, locals were super nice."
