"We got quote from contractor and home depot for kitchen remodel. Home Depot’s quote were much higher then the contractor. We thought Home Depot is more reputable company, so we decided to go with Home Depot. Men we were wrong, it took almost a year to get it done, and we also paid extra for the work the contractor couldn’t do. After it’s done and released the payment. We received letter from city for inspection, city inspector told us one of the electrical outlet from ceiling doesn’t meet the code. I’ve been sending emails, making phone calls, also went to store try to find the person( but the person in charge only works Monday through Friday, so I couldn’t talk to her in person, and other associate said they can leave her a note) regarding the refund and the electric outlet. It’s been a year, I heard nothing. Will never order service from Home Depot again. Lessons learned for others please make sure you get city inspection done before release payment."

"Normally I love shopping here; they have great prices, sufficient parking, and the service is usually great. Deducting two stars after today's experience; one for the inexplicable redesign of the checkout lanes, which was confusing and annoying. The other for the male associate that asked me why I was purchasing high quality, durable garden gloves, instead of "the pretty flowered ones". Ridiculous and insulting. You should train your employees to sell all customers the best quality product, not the prettiest to the girls."

"I have been to several garden centers this spring as we are preparing for the growing season, and The home Depot has by far had the best selection. Staff are very helpful too, but in a not annoying way."
