"Hired this company for minor repairs in my home. The contractor started with the screen door by removing the old one. Before installing the new screen door, he indicated he needed to go to the store to pick up screws, wood, and a new tool to do the other work he was hired for. I made a phone call to the owner after his contractor had been gone for two hours, leaving a message asking if another contractor was available. At the three hour mark, I called the contractor directly and he stated he was on his way back and that he was held up because an 87 year old man was walking down the highway and needed his tire changed. Soon after our conversation the owner called me back, explaining how he has to have ongoing training with his contractors to ensure they communicate to customers like they would communicate to their own wives. We did not agree that the lack of communication was acceptable behavior, so I was accused of not having any integrity, that he did not want his contractor doing my work, and would be by to pick up his tools. Poor rating is due to a lack of concern for customer needs, mishandling communication, and unethical business practices by leaving work unfinished that was started."

"We were having problems with our gas fireplace. Consumer's Energy was out four times and replaced two parts and it still didn't work correctly. We gave up on Consumer's and called Steve from The Repairman. He sent Tim over and he fixed it correctly in one short visit. Tim was knowledgeable and friendly and we should have called him first. We highly recommend The Repairman!"
