"I believe that the Owner of Roger’s Grocery Stores ( Hale Oscoda Glennie) does not care about his businesses. The store are filthy the shelves are kinda empty. The manager at one of the stores had his kids at the store. One of the employees who was stocking shelves had on holey jeans. I love supporting small businesses but i refuse to shop here. If I need something quick maybe but other than that I won’t be shopping at Roger’s"
"I recently fell victim to a Craigslist bait-and-switch which resulted in the theft of my wallet, clothes and cellphone. I sauntered into Roger’s wearing nothing but a Miller Lite promotional towel I found in the Library parking lot. The clerk provided a sympathetic ear and a rotary telephone. I was truly grateful for both."
"If you're anywhere near the Glennie Michigan area this is the place to get your meat and other groceries. I especially like it when we're camping at Alcona County Park. They seem to have exactly what we need. Their meat is very good quality. Great for grilling."
"Roger's IGA is a pretty solid grocery store for most food needs. There isn't a massive selection, but still a fairly good selection for a small, out of the way grocery store. They don't have organic produce, but they do carry some organic products. There is a gluten-free bread selection in the freezer section. Their sales are incredible, many times featuring "10 for $10" selections or "Buy 2, Get 3 Free." Even their typical sales prices on items like cheese and frozen items are really good deals. They do not have a public restroom inside, but there is a portable one outside at the end of the building. They have a wonderful meat department that they have a good butcher in charge of. Roger's meat is hard to beat!!! :)"
"Rogers IPA has everything you need that you didn't buy down state at a gentleman's 40% markup. Grant it, it's your own damn fault for finding yourself in the position of weighting the merits of a 6 dollar carton of eggs versus for going breakfast opening morning. That's where the fine capitalists at Rogers step in and let the market decide if it's worth it. Seeing how the store was recently renovated with upgrades such as close door coolers and an amazing liquor selection that should make the Curtisville Trading Post think twice about their hammer and sickle selection of poor Canadian spirits. I think it's a markup worth paying."
