"Great prices will come my girlfriend thinks it's great a little bit too far to go but that's okay when the weather is good we drive their produce products are a little bit high but other than that everything is great"
"Watch expiration dates on sale items. Other than that...meat counter quality is excellent. You will find prices that are better than others if you take the time to look."
"I've been going to this store since the day it opened. I used to do all of my major shopping here because of the low prices and proximity. Now I only go when I need just a few items. Their prices have increased dramatically. VC is now higher than most grocery istores in the city! When they do have a good 'deal', oftentimes the food is near the expiration date. I check the dates on everything I buy in this store. I've had to return "fresh" chicken on two separate occasions so I haven't bought anymore in years and won't. I gave them 3 stars for the cleanliness and the neat, tidy displays and shelves."
"It's dark inside but it's an appealing kind of dark. I compared the prices to the prices on my Kroger app and NOTHING was cheaper at value center. The prices on 20 various items were at least 10% higher and sometimes 60% higher and that's no Kroger coupons which I always have. They do have some discount aisles where you have to buy 5 or 10 items to get a cheaper unit price. There no store brand that's cheaper than the name brands to fall back on. Theyhad apple cider from a local cider mill in Romeo. Kroger doesnt have that. There's lots of variety. NY strip steaks usda choice were the same price as Costco. They open too late in the mourning for it to be practical for me. The Krogers I shop at open at 6am so I can stop there on the way home from 3rd shift. I have to come back out again if I want to shop at Value Center."
