"Was looking for a recliner and Terry was very helpful and even let me borrow his dolly so I could get the recliner in the house. And the recliner was a good deal too!"
"Cool shop with a lot of good stuff in it. You should stop by."
"Excellent price on a desk ($125) and love seat ($200), however I paid an extra $75 for shipping after specifically checking with the owner to verify that they could get the desk and love seat down my stairs and into my basement, as I am unable to do it myself. I also paid an additional $60 disposal fee to remove a corner couch in the same basement. Both of these prices seemed appropriate. Delivery was delayed about a week due to some family medical issues which Terry communicated to me, which was totally fine. Family first 100%... I would expect nothing less from a family owned business. ...but then the day after the furniture was delivered the owner calls my wife rather than me, and says they will not risk moving the furniture to my basement, citing that I gave them the impression it was a walkout. I was right next to his daughter while she confirmed this with him on speaker phone, I communicated the necessity to carry the furniture down the stairs as being my main motivation to pay for delivery, and wrote it on the delivery form just to be sure they remembered, so this is a blatant untruth that has left a bad taste in my mouth, and he didn't even have the courage to tell me directly, but had to get my wife's phone number from the delivery driver. Then I get home to discover the end cap of the $187 slant bench that I use daily in my basement was knocked off and missing, which renders the bench unusable as it slides and teeters unsafely without the end cap to grip the floor. It's a small thing, but adds additional insult to the injury when my personal property is not respected. The prices I paid was fair, but he absolutely did not deliver what I was told I was paying for. I may purchase from Riverside again, but I will hire my own movers who I can expect to be reliable. I'm not sure though, it's hard to think of doing business with someone again once trust is broken."
"Rather large assortment of vintage and antique furniture. Think hardwoods and quality craftsmanship. Many of the peices fall just outside traditional styles; making them difficult to pair but great statement pieces. Perfect place for anyone doing a period room. Prices are reasonable, making them affordable to northern locals and not just the advantaged TC resident."
"They should face this sign the other way so they know the new hours. 12:45, Saturday, closed. Lost potential new customer who just moved to T.C."
