"This is the old-style grocery store. Offers a wide variety of all sorts, but stands out for having a staffed fresh meat counter for personal selection of steaks, ground beef, pork chops, etc. Their meat priced were actually better than big box and club stores. They also offer meat boxes at reasonable prices. Staff is always very pleasant and helpful, a treat to many these days. Highly recommend them!"

"I'll actually give this 2 reviews, because I briefly worked there. First, as a customer this place is easily 4 out of 5 stars, in a good way. The only thing really holding it back from 5 stars is that while their meat section is, somewhat notoriously, inexpensive, pretty much everything else comes with a...........not a ridiculous markup, but a very notable one that quickly adds up. Hey, their a private & local business, they gotta stay afloat here, so I'm not mad at them for it, but it does hold them back a little. Customer service is pretty much spot on. Most everyone here seems to keep a good mood and knows where most everything is making them very helpful. Second part here, as an employee. I worked solely in the meat department, never at a register. Clean, cut and organize the meat area and stock the nearby beer section. Tend to customers who request specific meats and that's mostly the job. Why was my time here short? I was transitioning in other parts of my life and even when I called in to inform them, several hours ahead of time, that I was unable to come in it was still put down as a no call no show for me. Following that, the second time it happened it was over for me there. Yeah, regardless of if you call or not they don't care, they operate their own way."

"Great neighborhood Market for needed products not usually available at most stores, yet most of what you need is available. Being new to the area,my husband really likes the store for it's location, products & convenience; we will frequent the market as needed, required & as available!"

"Went here for previous reviews of the meat boxes. I bought the $45 meat box. Good amount of meat but the cheapest brands like bar s hot dogs and the hamburger was the tube kind with the 75 ratio. The breakfast sausage and chicken was not pre-packaged. No returns on meat boxes. I will not go here again, I will stick with Galesburg meat market. Friendly staff just disappointed in the amount of cheap pre-packaged meat."
