"Needed metal roofing for a house I'm building. I sent the blueprints to Eikenhout. They had the product delivered within a couple weeks. 1/3 of the metal was the wrong length. My rep at Eikenhout said that it was my responsibility to catch their mistake prior to delivery. They insisted I pay for the metal that was too short before they would send me what I needed. I have a stack of the wrong metal on site. Bought and paid for. Can't use it. I'm a professional builder, and I'll never use Eikenhout again."

"Not a good experience. I’m always impressed when a place does a poor job with their primary task. Getting the customer their product. Big disconnect between the show room and the forklift operator. I always seem to wait outside forever and get ignored. I also would not recommend going here if you’re not already an expert in their products. I had never done siding and thought someone could be useful in walking me through the process. But I was just talked down to and they made me feel dumb. At least the person working behind the counter in the show room. I would have done one star but the product they sell is fine. I would just buy it from somewhere else next time. I do not recommend this place. Unless you are an expert in roofing/siding and want to spend all day in the parking lot."

The product needed to come up from downstate, and not only was I called to say they did have it available and would get it on a truck, but it arrived promptly and I was notified of its arrival equally as promptly. Absolutely top-notch customer service. Very rare these days."
