Reviews of Woodland Creek Furniture
"Top notch furniture quality, selection and very fair pricing in the Minocqua area. Great selection on the floor and awesome service and follow through for custom orders. We've ordered several pieces for our new cabin over the last year and the in-store staff is amazing and the delivery crews are top notch, thorough and very professional. We are very pleased we found Woodland Creek after shopping many other stores in the area and highly recommend!"
"We walked into the store on a Saturday and the clerk sat at the desk and didn’t greet us. We had some questions on a light fixture hanging and asked if we could turn them on. She appeared quite frustrated we bothered her. We did actually purchase the items, $900 worth of lights. We of course expected to take our items with us upon departure/purchase, however, we were informed that we couldn’t as she wasn’t allowed to go in the warehouse as her manager told them no one could go in there over the weekend when there was no additional staff. He was on vacation in Florida, according to her. This makes no sense. You’re a retail store and when people purchase something they want to take it with them. They expect to. She was very short with us and basically offered no empathy to our frustration or disappointment. I asked her to call the manager and get permission as the store was empty. She handed me his card and said I could call him Monday. What good did that do my current situation? We came back a week later. When we walked in to the store, the same clerk at the desk with a gentlemen, neither acknowledged our entrance to the store, not a huge deal, maybe they were busy. We wanted to walk around and potentially purchase additional items we’d seen previously. Another clerk walks right by us, basically turns head the other direction and ignored us. We went to the counter and honestly, I was a little snarky, not going to lie. 34 years in sales, I would not do much if I treated customers that way. Asked if I could take my fixtures they had lying on the floor by the door. They did not offer to help 2 women carry the 4 fixtures, did not say thank you not even goodbye. Let’s just say, we will be going down the street to Roughing it. Amazing customer service. It explains why the store has been empty the three times I’ve been there. They need new help. Product's are beautiful."
"On a recent short vacation to Minocqua Wisconsin my wife and I happened upon this store. We literally felt like we were in a wonderland of furniture. I thought the prices were exceedingly reasonable for the uniqueness and quality of the furniture. The accessories were out of this world awesome. We ended up buying a live-edge table sitting on a juniper root base the likes of which we have never seen anywhere for less than four or five thousand dollars but we got it for a fraction of that. This is our new favorite store. Hands down. They even crated and shipped the table all the way to fort Wayne Indiana and it all ran flawlessly and was reasonably priced in every respect. We are planning on going to the traverse City facility in the hopes that it's just as nice."
"Very big store with lots of variety. Quite pricey but the disappointment was they couldn't show us all the options available on the furniture we were interested in which was not helpful at all. Good store if you want floor models that everyone else has been touching and using."
"Excellent people to work with - very helpful in design and what to purchase for space. Incredibly nice people - treat you like you are their friend. Although, this makes you spend more money! LOL. My experience with HomeXpressions was awesome all the way around."
