"Was considering writing one for a while, but was hesitant. Decided to finally post this review after i noticed another one star review, was planning to give them 3, because I used to come here with my kids. Today as I went to post this review and, I was surprised to notice that they deleted the 1 star review!!! I'm not sure how much they delete but I think they should work on fixing and preventing 1 stars versus deleting them. Anyway went during september and was pretty disappointed. I brought my grandkids for a day of play, and found it was 9$ per person!. I haven't gone for a while, but pretty steep considering MANY of the electronics and things were broken. We used to love the bubble and it seemed to not be as good as it used to be. I used to take my kids here and loved it. Hoping they end up fixing everything. Staff seemed stressed that we were there as well! Not sure if I'll be here again, but if I do, I hope much more is fixed, we used to love coming here and I'd love to give them a higher star rating."
"A great place to take the young kids. Our granddaughters (2 and 4) had a blast."
"I really love this little museum. There is a lot to do and it really speaks to lots of different age groups. I went with a three year old, a four year old, a seven year old, and an eight year old. All of the kids had fun and I personally had a great time too. The four stars were because some of the exhibits weren't working well but most of them were. I would recommend it to anyone with kids and if you don't have kids then borrow some kids and go."
"What a great find! Our six-year-old loved it! Plenty of activities for kids of all ages with an educational value. He especially loved finding lost items under the snow platform and playing in the electric room. Highly recommend for those rainy days keeping you off the lakes."
"This was our first visit to the Northwoods Children's Museum and we loved it! There's so much to do, and so many different fun activities. My favorite was probably the flash room and the room that glows in the dark. It was worth the trip and I do highly recommend it! Here's some of the things your children can do: play in a log cabin, ride a snow mobile, fish, camp with a play fire and tent, dress up, build hot wheel tracks (and then race your cars!), watch a toy train go around while you light up the houses and make the people move around, play in a tree house, read books, art, spray paint a t-shirt, crafts, climb through a lung, jump start your heart, throw food balls in a stomach, play in a store, mine for rocks and much more! It will not disappoint!"
