"The lady working there when we went in was very nasty! We wanted to get change for a 20 so that we could get into the state park which required exact payment last time we were there. First, she said that she couldn’t give us change because they don’t have a safe then when we explained that we wanted to buy something, she raised her voice and exclaimed, “Well, I wouldn’t have a choice then!” Then, when we explained that we needed 5 ones back she very nearly lost her temper and said again that she couldn’t do that. We left and went to the Krist station right up the road. They happily took our money and gave us change. Regardless of whether or not you are able to do what someone asks, there is no reason to be so rude and nasty about it. Would not recommend stopping here."

"I went here to buy minnows back in March. The lady working the counter was extremely rude. I walked in and said I wanted to buy minnows. She gave me a strange look and said in a snobby tone “Where are you going to put them, in your pocket?”. I kindly told her I wanted to purchase a minnow bucket to put them in. She responded with “Well they’re back there.” I asked her if I was supposed to scoop the minnows myself (EVERY bait shop I’ve ever been to an employee scoops the minnows) and in a snobby tone she said ya. I got a bucket and went to the back where the minnows were to fill my bucket. I looked for something to use to fill my bucket with water from the minnow tank. I couldn’t find anything so I went to dip my bucket in the tank. From the front of the store she started snapping at me not to do that. I asked how I was to fill my bucket. Again in a very snobby tone she said “What, you can’t see the sink that’s 2 feet away from you?”. EVERY bait shop I’ve ever been to uses water from the tank the minnows are pulled from so the minnows aren’t shcoked from new water. I should have just left the bucket and got out of the store but I decided to be polite and finish my purchase. I will never (and I suggest others don’t) go to this store again. Not only do they not know how to properly serve live bait, but they disrespect customers trying to give them business. These are the types of employees that destroy a business’ reputation and they should be fired for such poor customer service."
