Reviews
"Cute little store with a little something for everybody. They have an ice cream shop in the back with delicious ice cream, unfortunately, the young ladies that were scooping the ice cream we’re clearly not happy to be working that day, as their service left something to be desired, but that’s a separate review. The review on peppercorn was fantastic, and when we went to pay. The cashier was exceedingly friendly, helpful and pleasant to be around, and truly made the experience what it was. Regardless of what you’re looking for swing in the peppercorn and have a look around, very pleasant experience"
"A friend recommended this place for kitchen towels. I found great selection of towels and so much more. Great variety of products, friendly, knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices."
"My son and I went into the store today for a little Christmas shopping, as we have done for years. When we went to pay the young lady behind the counter said, with a very sneering, snarky attitude "Do you have enough cash? It's cash only today. There's a sign on the door" "Cash only?" I asked. "Yes. The sign has been there since I opened today at noon." She made no attempt to be polite or mutually respectful, literally laughing in my face that I didn't have $50+ dollars cash on me for the items I was about to purchase. We USED to shop there a few times a year as it was a really cool store...quaint, small and always have something interesting. No more, however. Everytime I walk in now I'll hear that snarky "*&#!, and it ruins the experience. I'll bet I've been shopping there longer than she's been alive."
"I guess the only way to receive good service is if your not black. Me and my friend were the only people on the store, and we stood at the counter to ask a question. All the whole TWO employees were behind the counter talking. Looked right at us but did not acknowledge our presence or speak to us at all."
"What a great spot for coffee lovers. I am a coffee enthusiast and enjoy different ways to brew and grind coffee. This place has everything you need no matter what interest level you are at brewing coffee. I picked up a nice matching pour over set for my stovetop coffee..."
