"I had a car shipped from out of state and it had some upper valve train noise that I recorded. I called Bruce at Heads Up and he asked if I could come right over. After seeing and listening to the video, he said there was an issue and he'd call when I could bring it in. The call came and once there he said he'd pull the valve covers and see what was going on. A few hours later, I get a call. I was expecting a bad news call. Instead, it was to tell me he was done and come get it. Valves and rocker arm adjustments and the valve train was quiet. I have found a place for any engine work I may need in the future. Thrilled with the honesty and outcome. Thank you Bruce."

"Won't return calls was recommended by a tow truck driver to repair a 438 big block roush engine on a 1996 Ford Mustang Show/ Muscle car. Bruce doesn't return calls. I contacted Bruce a week ago and he said to call back Tuesday (this past) spoke with him for a minute today and he abruptly said let me call you back. I've left several messages for him in the past couple of days if they can't do the job they should let people know instead of dragging it out"

"Bruce is a nice guy to talk to, but I spent $7,700 on an engine rebuild and within 6,000 miles a valve dropped and destroyed one of the pistons.This was a daily driver, not a race car. Unfortunately after it happened, only then did I find out he reused old parts on my engine during the rebuild. He told me sorry and that was as far as he went to help me out. Like I said, he seems like a nice guy, but cmon man you gotta be good to the people that come to you and support your business."

"Had Bruce notch the bottom of the cylinders for the stroker crank and then assemble the engine. Got it home and installed it, filled the fluids. When checking into why it would not start I found water and anti freeze in the oil. One of the notches went into the water jacket and there was a pin hole in the brazing. Took the engine out and back for repairs. He made me remove the intake and head on that side so he could put in block fill to seal the hole. I had to reassemble the engine after at my cost for new gaskets, oil and anti freeze. Next I get the engine running but it is fouling the plugs, a little investigation and I found that the valve stem seals were damage when they were installed. I am in the process of replacing them right now. Just giving an account of what happened for me.."
