Reviews
"Sweetest staff you’d ever meet. You have got to go check this little mom and pop style nail salon out!"
"The older woman went off on me because I gave my payment to her Husband and not her. Her Husband is the one that serviced me. They don't like people of color only our green stop patronizing places that don't give us respect and professionalism."
"I offer this review to document my experience, not to degrade anyone involved. My experience deserves 0 stars. My friend referred me to get shellac polish. When I arrived, Juan (the son) greeted me & asked what service did I want. I told him a shellac manicure (which is $10 more than just getting the shellac polish). I went to his mother. She began to file my nails with a very used emery board. I asked her if they sanitize the emery boards between customers. Her countenance immediately changed. She responded that she had never been asked that before and asked why I was scared. I told her that Hepatitis can be transferred that way. She began to become argumentive saying that she hasn't had a problem with her own nails (using the emery boards). I asked if she could use a new file and that I would pay for it. She did get a new board however, when she began to file my nails with it, she was filing very aggressively and was frowning. I asked her if she would be offended if her son finished my nails. Juan begins to do my nails. He was very pleasant. I told him that I didn't appreciate his mother being rude to me (1st time customer) talking about me (in their language and in english). He said that his mom is just like that (always fussing). She was still talking! Juan knicked almost all of my cuticles even causing one to bleed. My nails weren't the prettiest (looked thick and the filing wasn't the cleanest) however, I told myself that I would not return. On the 3rd day of my manicure, I noticed severe chipping on many of my nails. My friend told me to go back as they would fix them. I went today and after sitting for almost 40 mins., the mother told me that she did not want to do my nails. When I told her husband of what she said he responded that he didn't do shellac. That was it! No resolve offered. No refund, no courtesy... so you know- they will NEVER have my business again! It is bad enough that the salon is filthy and in need of repairs...horrible customer service too? All I can say is WOW! I pray that God gives them compassion, integrity and a sweet spirit!"
"The mother did my nails made them to thick and not square enough. She had a attitude when I was looking at my nails making sure she was doing them right. Then when I asked her to take off the extra polish and stuff on my skin she threw a fit, talking about she don’t see anything and then asked another costumer that was sitting in the Chair did she see what I was talking about. And then to top it all off a couple of days later half of my nails came off. I recommend nobody to go there and if you do decide to go to the daughter( tweety), she is the only one that will hook you up for real."
"I got here, I received my pedicure no problem, I got my eyebrows arched no problem. When I asked the same woman who had just arched my eyebrows if she could do a design her mood changed. I could tell she had an attitude so I opted out of a design for a solid color. She begins painting my nails neglecting to paint all of my thumb nail. I asked her to fix this she huffed, added more polish but some got on my skin. Normally they use their finger to get the extra polish off however this petty woman left it on that finger but removed excess polish off every other finger. When I asked her to remove the polish off my skin she began talking a lot of cap saying I had an attitude. By that point I was upset because I watched how the customer service changed the moment she made me pay. What type of establishment makes you pay before you're done with the service anyway? She overcharged me by 3 dollars but I didn't press that as I just wanted my nails done properly. She got up and walked away without finishing my nails, I had to ask her son to finish. Gross and unprofessional. Within 3 days my nails were chipping and have what looks like bubbles on them. Don't waste your money they don't know how to treat the black women that put money in their pockets. Also they're style of doing nails is outdated."
