"Worst dental experience ever. I was referred to Dr. Schlom but I had to see Dr. Gerstein. Worst mistake I could have ever made. He filled a tooth that I had no problem with and then because it was done incorrectly, I experienced nonstop pain for a week. I went in to have the cracked filling fixed (done 5 months prior) and he didn't know if I needed an antibiotic or pain meds. I left the office in pain with a referral to see an endodontist two days later. The endodontist shaved the filling down, which adjusted my bite and instantly the pain was gone. I never needed an antibiotic or pain meds, I needed a better dentist. Save yourself the pain and see another dentist."

"Dr shlom is a very rude man. He has no respect for women. He treated me poorly every time I went there. He extracted an upper tooth and didn't let the novacane kick in, he yanked hard and pulled up while extracting an upper tooth. He stuffed gauze in the hole never told me he did that it got extremely infected, when I went in there begging for a better anti biotic and a steroid(sister in law works at a better dentist) told me that's what I needed. The women in there were being horrible treating me like I was asking for pain meds, didn't want those. All I wanted was a better anti biotic and a steroid to help the infection. Dr Shlom was on vacation and no one could be bothered to help me. They wouldn't help me, and I was in tears with a swollen face, and nose. I luckily have a wonderful sister in law and she got me into a much better dentist. They couldn't believe what Dr Sholm did to my mouth. They had never seen so much swelling from an extraction. That's how I found out he shoved gauze way up in my gums and never thought to mention it. My face was swallen for over a month. He also told me that my eye tooth made me have a stupid smile, which is really nice to hear...very professional. He watches tv when he should be listening to his patients. I will never forgive him for the nasty comment and his inability to do a simple extraction. Then the treatment from the whole staff. I was a patient for a while too, they knew me and that's how they treat repeating customers that don't have a pile of money to fix my "stupid smile" Thanks for nothing Dr Shlom and staff!!"
