"My fiance took our car here to get it fixed, we were quoted a price and at the end of the day we were charged almost DOUBLE for the work!!! Our car still doesn't sound like it's running right. Horrible experience, they seem nice but it's just false humility."
"Don't know how much they pay for the 5 star reviews but they can afford it by ripping off their customers. Scotts auto don't fix the problem they stick a bandaid on it. I had to have all the work re-done by Dave's automotive."
"They were suppose to replace radiator. But instead installed a new battery without permission charged for it and said it would last about a year. Then 2 months later the vehicle dies again at a gas pump had to pay another $150 dollar tow on top of now they want to replace the radiator for $580 like they were suppose to do the first time. Never been scammed so much. Worse of all this was to my senior citizen mother and no remorse for their mess up."
"Awsome place. I take all my cars here. Fast service and the price for quality work every time. Or you could take your vehicle to Dave's and overpay. Went into Dave's for an oil change. Got a bill for almost 1000.00 for stuff I didn't even know was on my car. Decided not to get my oil changed there. Scott's Automotive changed my oil and fixed what Dave's had found for 300.00"
"With all the good reviews unfortunately I didn't experience that. Went to get a coolant flush about a month ago and was charged 47.50. I noticed I didn't have any heat afterwards(I had heat before my coolant flush) he said he did another flush for some other tubes and charged me another 47.50 same day. That still didn't fix the problem. He then told me I needed a front heater core and gave me a quote of 160 if I brought my own part and labor time of 2 hours. So I didn't think nothing of it. I got my part and came in Monday September 25th at 10a.m. Waited 2 hours and at 12 he claimed he did the work and I still had no heat. I was furious then and he could tell. He didn't charge me the 160 but kept my part I bought. I then felt funny about all of this and started calling other trusted mechanics and asked for a quote on a front heater core one said $500 another said $400 I'm like wow theres no way he put a heater core on in 2 hours. So I then called him and said can i have my old heater core back. He says yes. I go pick it up today it's in the same box as the new part I bought called trq. I opened it and told him other mechanics told me it takes 7 to 8 hours this isnt the part you took off my vehicle. He lies and said it is look it up(if i look it up itll show me the part i bought but theres no proof its my old one)this is what you brought me. So I'm like ok whatever I know he's lieing cause how do you not charge for a long job like that? So i took the part and left knowing he stole the part I bought lied about putting the heater core on. Now I'm stuck with no heat having to go work to buy a new part and save up the money to go to a honest mechanic to see what's really going on. If he can lie like this hes done this before. I don't know what I did to deserve this if its because im black or he messed up and didn't want to admit it or originally tried getting over on me but im more upset he kept my part and lied to my face but God don't like ugly and I hope he reaps what he sowed. I'm currently looking into legal matters with this and letting other mechanics know about him and my experience with him."
