"I had contacted Crown looking for a very specific vehicle, and when I contacted them about one listed on their website, they said that it wasn’t available. They offered me something similar and I politely declined and let them know that I was going to go with a vehicle at a dealership that was a few hours away. Mike offered right away to have that specific vehicle transferred to their dealership to help save me the trip (by the end of the call, he made it sound like it was a done deal and transferring the car up wouldn’t be a big deal). I agreed, and went right on their website to do the credit application. The next day, I contacted Mike to make sure that they received the app and wanted to make sure they had the car secured. He claimed that the other dealership had sold it to someone (had I known that he hadn’t secured it the previous day, I would’ve placed a deposit with the other dealer and made the 3 hour trip to go get it). He then proceeded to offer me a vehicle that was more expensive. There was a lot more back and forth negotiating and by the next day I decided not to do business with Mike because I felt like I couldn’t trust anything that came out of his mouth. He had also informed me that everything with my application had come back fine, but I just happened to look at my credit reporting, and they never even pulled my credit. This all happened around the 2nd week of December 2023."
