"We bought a refrigerator, just the type we were looking for. The price was reasonable and it was in great shape. The sales lady even went down a little to make the sale even better. We needed to have their movers move the old broken frig out, move the refrigerator from the kitchen upstairs to the basement (to replace the broken one) and move the new one into the kitchen. If it had been a simpler move, the cost would have been included in the original price, but because the move was more complicated, the cost was only a little bit more added to it. We were very happy they moved everything around for us, because we could have never done it ourselves. It worked great for a week and then everything got warm. We turned the temperature colder, to see if that worked, but it didn't help. So I called TJ's to report it, and she gave me Ted, the owner/repairer's number. He called back very promptly and came to fix it the next day after they opened. He put more freeon in it, and by the next early morning it was working great again! I'd buy another appliance from them again any day! We're very happy. (And we're not a relative and have never walked in before)"

"Had high hopes but the owner TJ was so eager to cancel an appt with a paying customer. Thanks so much for being so understanding to a mother with an infant && kids who will now have to drag them out late at night to the laundromat til I find another business to service my washer.. the washer I bought from your establishment. My fault so trying to support a small business. All because I got frustrated about you wanting to walk on my new carpet that I just got & my 4 month old plays on, with used & dirty shoes. All I asked him,if be could wear shoe covers over take his shoes off just while walking on carpet & putting them back on in my kitchen before going in my basement and be rudely said 'no' and he was canceling my appt"

"Update: worked for a load of laundry and is broken again. Time will tell. We've had our washer only 2 months and it's broke a few times already. They do come and fix it but I'm not sold that it's just a waiting game till the next issue. They do have pretty good communication and friendly staff."

"Had bad luck with two washing machines from TJ's ..he brought a second one over after the first one wasn't working right ..and the second one wouldn't drain right either..told us to use the "rinse and spin" button till clothes were dry(er)..spent about four months with this problem (which got worse and worse as time went on before giving up and getting another machine from Lee Appliance on Eastern, SE..definitely avoid the place if possible..they basically said it was our problem not theirs at some point. The new washer from Lee Appliance (same price as TJ's) is working great by the way."
