Reviews of Buster's Customs
"These guys rock. Very professional and do great work! Recently had my 24’ 2500 tinted out and it looks amazing. But not only do they do great car work they can also help out in so many ways when it comes to blind for your home. A few year back I had done a remodel project of a few condos in TC and needed some blinds cut down to a smaller dimension. This really saved me when I was in a pinch and they did a great job! Highly recommend."
"For window tinting, they’re great. I had my windows on my Tesla Model 3 done and more recently on my GT500. I think busters excels at this and they do a great job. I’ve never had a wrapped vehicle before and was interested in getting it done. I asked for a quote and talked to someone on the phone and told them the color/vinyl that I wanted. I paid $3800 total. I should’ve done more research on the vinyl that I went with to ensure I was getting something that will hold up and more importantly be able to self heal; or perhaps spend the extra money for PPF. Getting the vehicle back there were micro scratches/swirl marks all over. I tried to get them out with heat but that didn’t work. These really bugged me and I originally thought that I could’ve gotten a lot of this out with heat but I was wrong. Totally my fault for not doing more homework. Over the summer more and more of the scratches/swirl marks appeared from washing and such and it just really bugged me. The wrap job overall was initially okay to me. It looked really good stepping back from it. The guy I was talking to there mentioned there would be a few imperfections and I did tell him that was fine, I’m okay with a couple, no big deal. There were some small creases in the vinyl on the rear bumper; this is what I thought were the imperfections when discussing it with them earlier, they were small, not a huge issue. I did notice a rather large cut in the windshield, that looked like it was from a knife or razor blade. I thought maybe it was always there and I just never noticed it, since I did just get the car and it was still rather new to me. This will be important later on. Looking back it, this should’ve been a red flag. The cut does line up with one of the lines on the body where they would’ve cut the vinyl to wrap it around (between the front fender and the hood). There were a few spots where the wrap was wrinkled around the edge of the top front fender and the hood, definitely noticeable. After talking to some other people they thought a lot of the panels were cut short, in many places the vinyl didn’t wrap around the edges, in time through the summer a few more spots popped up where it looked like it shrunk and the original paint was showing more. In multiple spots the vinyl was pieced together, which seems really odd, I’m not sure if it’s normal. The hood for example could’ve been 1 piece but they had a small patch behind the hood vent. The vinyl was also cut and pieced together down the side of the car and on the rear underneath the license plate & front bumper. I also nicked the vinyl in a couple spots myself on accident, there’s no way to fix it unless it got re-wrapped. Again, thats what I signed up for, no worries there. At this point I already had my mind made up that I was going to remove the wrap in the winter and chalk it up to a loss, no point in bringing anything up. Winter rolls around and I started removing the wrap. I started with the front bumper; the vinyl was pushed up to the edge of the light and then cut with a razor blade, through the vinyl, to the paint/clear coat (!!!!). I continued and removed it all and found razor blade cuts on all sides of the vehicle. Some just through the clear coat but a few to the paint. Around the headlights, taillights, around the wheel wells and the biggest of them all, on the hood where they did that patch that I mentioned earlier. At this point the slash in the windshield definitely seems like it was done by accident during installation. I wasn’t going to mention anything at all but the razor blade cuts in the paint are a really big deal and are the main source of unhappiness from this experience. As mentioned before, I never brought the issues up directly to them. They did say that they’d warranty their work, re-wrap anything, etc. and all of that and I’m sure they would’ve re-wrapped the hood and front bumper but at that point I was over the wrap already and just wanted to go back to the original paint. Now that I’ve seen what was under the wrap, I’d be a bit hesitant to bring it back"
"Nick and his team did a great job taking care of my vehicle in a timely fashion. Window tint looks great and I’m looking forward to working with Buster’s on more projects in the future!"
"I have taken 4 of my personal vehicles and my mom and grandma have all got tint done by Buster customs!! There is a reason why I have continued to come back to them. Very professional, great attention to detail and the outcome is great every time! I will recommend them to anyone who wants tint done!"
"Nick and his team did a fantastic job detailing my wife's Subaru. It was a mess, but after a day spent at Buster's, it came out looking absolutely brand new. Great communication and price point. The only critique I can provide is to evaluate the condition of the car, either at drop-off or via pictures beforehand, to provide an accurate estimate of the detailing, as the condition of her car required an increase to the advertised detailing rate after we dropped it off. Totally understandable, but for some, it may have been an issue. Will use Buster's again!"
