Pomp's Tire Service

"Called to make an appointment and was told they had the tires I needed in stock. Made an appointment and arranged my day’s schedule to accommodate the time. When I arrived I was told they only had three of the four tires I wanted. I was offered a different tire and was told it was a “bit more aggressive” than the tire I had requested. The tire I requested was the original tire that came on the vehicle. Thought it ironic that Pomp’s offered a different tire “a bit more aggressive” when their phone advertisement, the one you hear when you’re on hold says, they recommend you stay with the same tire your auto company recommends. Lost a whole day and had to wait a couple of days until they could acquire the fourth tire. Service OK just a bit of an inconvenience."

"Went for new snow tires. Very good tire service, as far as I can tell. Deducting a point because the "optional" $80 Tire Guard Protection Service fee I was charged was not disclosed - I only noticed it by looking on the detailed line items of the invoice (which I received AFTER the total that included it was paid). It may be worth it, but it would be nice to have that disclosed to customer instead of just silently charging for it."

"I'm from out of town but was visiting my parents in Escanaba when I noticed my tire was leaking air. Took it to the Ford dealership since it was brand new truck and they couldn't get me in. Drove to Pomp's and they took the truck in immediately. Staff was very nice. They found a nail and patched the tire. I was back on the road with very minimal wait. Highly recommend to anyone !"

"On a road trip pulling an rv when we had a tire throw a belt on our truck. Arrived at Pomp’s less than 30 minutes before closing. The service was friendly even though they had to stay late to get us taken care of. Highly recommend this business and very grateful for their excellent service."
