"Have been waiting since 8/21 for dishwasher repair. It’s now 11/17 and I called asking if the repair could please be done before Thanksgiving. After much stuttering, telling me he still needed to order the parts, and that he was the only appliance repair in town, the guy told me, “I can’t work with this anymore and have to let you go.” Then hung up on me. I would AVOID this company at any/all cost."

"Very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me choose quality appliances that fit our needs. They delivered our refrigerator the next day, which was super helpful as ours was broken. Limited showroom choices, but the choices were quality merchandise. They service the brands they sell (and more). Special order stove took 1-2 weeks for delivery and install. Very nice people. Would buy from them again."

"I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. My washer and dryer unexpectedly quit on me. In a pinch I went to pillowman appliance. I wasn't in a position to purchase a brand new set at that time so he showed me to his storage building where he said he could sell me a used set. The machines he showed me were very old and overpriced but he had a tower set which he said needed a minor repair that would take him 20 minutes to repair. I paid up front and was told the machine would be delivered by the end of the week. Long story short 3 weeks later he had given me multiple excuses why my washer/dryer couldn't be delivered only to find out he had not even started the repair. I got my money back and purchased from a reliable company instead."

"It sounds like folks have had some warranty repair issues with Pillowman, but they've been really helpful to me. I bought a small fridge special order from them, and they expedited the process and gave me a price that was totally competitive with big box stores. I also have a troubled fridge that I did not buy from them, and they have helped me diagnose the problems and order parts free of charge. I appreciate the knowledge and willingness to help."

"I had a number of frustrating interactions with Pillowman Appliances, mostly having to do with their lack of effective communication about an ongoing repair issue. After having a problem with my refrigerator diagnosed, I followed up four times to see if and when a repair could be scheduled. I received a number of assurances from the same receptionist that someone would get back to me, which no one ever did. This went on for over three weeks. When I pointed this out to the receptionist, there was never any mention of apology, or even explanation. All I got was a somewhat unconcerned suggestion that I simply needed to continue waiting till I was contacted. I will say that the technician they initially sent to my house was very capable and clearly had a lot of experience. It's too bad that the rest of the company wasn't able to show a similar commitment and ability."
