"Best in the business. Hard to find people to to this work. Great job. Go see Spero. He is the best in the business. Love this guy"
"I took a Gucci bag in to be repaired and he told me he would sew the sides together because the sides were torn. He showed me a pair of pants he would attach to the sides but it was a different color. I didn’t really want that— and then he said he would just bring the sides that were torn in with sewing. I went to pick it up and he sure as hell attached those pants (which I question authenticity ) and very sloppy attached to the bag. When I got home I further inspected it and the canvas is frayed on the sides and now I’m out of a buyer and more money because she hates it and so do I. He also got weird when I paid the second part with my card because going to get cash was out of my way. I paid the first part with cash but had to pay the other part with my debit card. Very angry and annoyed. Will not return and I suggest you don’t either."
"There are many reasons why it is better to have shoes repaired at a shoemaker than to buy a new pair. That's why I take my business to Harvard Row Shoe Repair! Here are a few of the most important reasons why it is better to visit is a shoemaker than just buy new shoes - It saves money. The cost of repairing a pair of shoes is typically much less than the cost of buying a new pair. This is especially true if you have a good pair of shoes that are simply in need of a few repairs. It extends the life of your shoes. A well-made pair of shoes can last for many years with proper care and maintenance. By having your shoes repaired, you can extend their life even further. It's better for the environment. When you repair your shoes, you're not contributing to the environmental impact of producing new shoes. Shoes are a major source of waste, and by repairing your shoes, you're helping to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. It's more sustainable. When you repair your shoes, you're supporting a local business and keeping your money in the community. This is in contrast to buying a new pair of shoes, which often involves supporting a large corporation that may not be environmentally friendly. It's better for your feet. Shoes that are well-fitting and properly repaired will provide better support for your feet. This can help to prevent injuries and pain."
"Shoddy work. Dropped my shoes off for repair/cleaning. Was told it'll take two weeks but "Don't call me, I'll call you". First red flag. Two weeks go by. No call. Second red flag. So I show up. Shoes still aren't ready, haven't even been touched. Third red flag. Tells me to come back the next day. I come back the next day, shoes are "ready" but the work is SHODDY. Still dirt on the shoes in various spots. Was told he would clean the insoles, insoles still dirty. Still got the same hair and dirt that was on them before. So, it took you two weeks to do what again? BULLSH!T around? The "repair" job he did to the scuffs was terrible. Could clearly see where he plastered something over it. Not buffed or blended in. Looks like white out just laid on top of the marks. Paid half up front via card, and was told, the day I received my shoes, that the second half needed to be cash because of some processing fee. Never told me this beforehand, I offered to be up charged just so that I can cover the cost of the processing fee, EVEN AFTER THE SHODDY WORK, so that I can pay with my card. This guy is a clown."
"Brought a pair of Mary Jane shoes in for new heels and rubber soles. Wow, I wish I would've brought them in sooner. They looked like a new pair of shoes by the time I got them back and it was quite the deal. I will be back again."
